Step Into Christianity

If we don't understand the finished works of Christ, we will always blame God for what we don't receive, instead of taking responsibility for what He has already given.

For example, to regard healing as God's responsibility is to put the blame (whether directly or indirectly) on Him if it doesn't happen. We either believe in the Word as truth, or we let our experience alter His Word.

When we alter or twist His Word, we are calling God a liar. Religion places responsibility on God because we came from a pagan's mindset. We are not reaching out to God from earth to heaven.

The greatest mystery of Christianity is Christ in you, which means God in you. Paul found this revelation and kept preaching it. Most people still don't understand this as it's still a concept and something they read about.

The truth that God is in you and you are one with Him (1 Cor 6:17; Jn 17) make you gods (Ps 82:6; Jn 10:34). This is why Jesus is the firstborn Son (Rom 8:29), which means that we are sons born into His image and likeness. Jesus is the prototype for every believer.

This means that when you read the Bible especially the books of the Gospel, you are not identifying with the crowd, the individuals, the disciples or anyone else. You are identifying with Jesus.

When Jesus healed the sick and delivered the oppressed, He was showing you that you are to do what He did (Jn 14:12) because you are going to be like Him when the Holy Spirit comes (Acts 1:8).

The church is born on the Day of Pentecost because the Body has become like the firstborn Son, completely the same in the Spirit. The same Resurrection Life and Power in Christ is now in you, because the same Spirit dwells in you (Rom 8:11).

We no longer have any excuse to push any responsibility to God when it comes to everything that Christ has given to us through His finished works.

Does that mean that we are God? No. We can't save like Him. He is the Creator, the Saviour and the Judge. But our Spirit is now like Him. Earth is now our responsibility (Psalm 115:16) because of the dominion ability that God has given to us (Luke 10:19; Matt 28:18; Mark 16:17-18).

Until we understand dominion, authority, power and Jesus' finished works, we will remain wretched sinners hitting our chests, looking up to heaven, praying to a faraway God (in location) and waiting for the sweet by and by. Instead of walking and manifesting as sons of God, knowing Who is IN you and who you are.

It takes a thorough renewal of mind (Rom 12:2) through the whole Bible before we can shift out of the paganistic religious mindset and step into Christianity.

God the Father is seated on the throne of heaven. God the Son is seated at His right hand. God is not going to do for you what He has already done for you. He's looking at what you would do with what He has given.

God the Holy Spirit is the One who works on earth and He works through you --- the sons of God.

You Are The Life Of God

You Are The Life Of God

For if by the offense of the one, death reigned through the one, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. - Rom 5:17

By the offense or sin of Adam, death reigned through him. Every man who is born after Adam naturally walks in death (every form of death including sickness).

The word 'reign' means 'to rule as king, to exercise dominion.'

Under the First Adam, sin has dominion over mankind, which means that death has dominion over every man.

Under the Last Adam, sin no longer has dominion (Rom 6:14), which means that death has lost its dominion over us. Not only that, since Grace & Righteousness have dominion, Life has dominion in us (Rom 5:17 - we reign in Life).

Sin = Death Reigns
Grace & Righteousness = Life Reigns

...so that, as sin reigned in death, so also grace would reign through righteousness to eternal LIFE through Jesus Christ our Lord. - Rom 5:21 (emphasis added)

In Adam, I was the sin of Man in Adam.
In Christ, I am the righteousness of God in Christ.

On the Cross, Jesus became the sin of Man so that we become the righteousness of God (2 Cor 5:21). Jesus was treated like us so that we can be treated like Him. Jesus was made sin, so that we can be made sons.

Since sin produces death in Adam and righteousness produces life in Christ, when I become the righteousness of God in Christ, I also become the LIFE of God in Christ.

Eternal LIFE is not what you attain in future, it is who you become now. John 17:3 says that "This is eternal LIFE, that they may know You, the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent."

Eternal Life is not a location you go to. It's a position you have. You are the LIFE of God in Christ Jesus!

What does it mean to be the LIFE of God in Christ?

It means that you are able to release life to whomever and whatever you touch. It means that sickness and disease and every form of death cannot reign in you because the very LIFE of God crushes any trace of that in you.

Many believers understand that they have become the Righteousness of God in Christ. But few realise that they have become the Life of God in Christ.

Are You Careful Or Carefree? Part Two

Are You Careful Or Carefree? Part Two

As shared in Part One, we are to cast the object of our care (that divides and distracts our mind from Christ) on God, because we are the object of His care (1 Peter 5:7).

The word 'care' (Matt 6:34; Mark 4:19) in Greek literally means 'to be divided; to be distracted.'

But Martha was ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ญ๐ž๐ with all her preparations; and she came up to Him and said, “Lord, do You not ๐œ๐š๐ซ๐ž that my sister has left me to do all the serving alone? - Luke 10:40

Whenever we care for something, it causes distraction where we no longer set our mind on the things of the Spirit (Rom 8:5).

When we become care-LESS, when we become care-FREE, the word of God will be fruitful (manifested) in our lives.

How does this apply to healing and health, which is from the Spirit realm?

Some time ago, I was in a rush for an appointment. I ate so fast that I accidentally bit into a piece of stone in the rice. The immediate pain was excruciating. I had thought that I must have caused my tooth to crack.

For the whole day, there was 'electricity' in that vicinity of my tooth. Did I command healing? Yes of course! In fact, I was commanding and releasing healing to myself everyday.

After one month plus, it didn't get healed. I went to do a quick dental check to see if the tooth has cracked and I was told that there's nothing the dentist could do, because the tooth is still fine and the root is still alive.

The next few days, after releasing healing to myself, I decided to forget about it. I decided to be care-LESS. Then... I didn't know when and how, my tooth was suddenly healed.

Most of our prayers are out of care & concern instead of faith. You don't get what you pray.

The peace of God (Phil 4:6-7) is meant to guard your heart and mind in Christ so that you no longer care (anxious, divided and distracted) and thus, you can finally believe (Mark 11:24).

For if you believe that you have received it, you stop praying. You just walk in it. Peace is the proof of faith (Phil 4:7).

But if we keep praying, it reveals that we are still care-FULL, instead of care-FREE. Because our mind gets preoccupied with the object of our care when we are constantly praying about it. It actually renders the word of God powerless and unfruitful in our lives.

Yet if we let go, if we become care-LESS, we will see healing and health flowing easily into our lives.

If you are someone who cares about your health, the best approach is to let go and let God. You are the object of His care (1 Peter 5:7).

Stop meditating on the symptoms.
Stop praying out of care.
Stop praying repeatedly. God doesn't work by your repetition.

Surrender your healing and health to Him after you are done releasing life to your body. Know who you are and WHOSE you are.

Walk like a little child who is care-LESS and care-FREE, because your Father in heaven is always good.

Are You Careful Or Carefree? Part One

Are You Careful Or Carefree? Part One

We have been taught to be very careful since young. "Be careful of this! Be careful of that!" We learnt to care for what needs to be cared for. Being carefree, sometimes, is not valued and not appreciated.

But the principle of being careful is also brought into the spirit realm when we get born again.

If not careful, being careful will become full of cares. And that affects the spirit realm.

Jesus said in Matt 6:34, "So do not ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ซ๐ฒ about tomorrow; for tomorrow will ๐œ๐š๐ซ๐ž for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

The word 'worry' is actually the same word as 'care'. The English translation is not the best. In Greek, the word 'worry' and 'care' is 'merimnaรณ', which means 'to go to pieces because pulled apart in different directions'. It literally means '๐ญ๐จ ๐›๐ž ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐๐ž๐, ๐ญ๐จ ๐›๐ž ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ญ๐ž๐'.

In English, it is however, translated as 'to care for, to be anxious, to worry, to be concerned', etc.

If we are careful, our mind will be occupied with the object of our care. We become distracted and divided, because it is impossible to have two different objects in our mind ----- both God and the cares.

Peter was walking on water. But when he saw the storm, he became fearful and started sinking. The storm had nothing to do with him working out a supernatural phenomenon of walking on water and defying gravity.

But the storm was designed to cause Peter to CARE. For when he cared about the storm, he became divided and distracted.

All of life is designed to cause us to CARE. We care about our finances; we care about our education; we care about our job; we care about our future; we care about our family and children; we care about our health, and the list of cares continue.

The enemy knows full well. And his goal is to get us to CARE in this world.

Mark 4:19 says that 'the cares ('merimna' - same root word as Matt 6:34) of the world....

For the word of God to be fruitful (manifested) in our lives, we must be CARE-LESS. Being carefree is the main ingredient for the word of God to be fruitful.

The more you are full of cares, the more you walk in fear. The more you are free from cares, the more you walk in faith.

This is why the Bible tells us to 'Cast all our care on Him, because He cares for us." (1 Peter 5:7).

A better translation will be this... 'We are to cast the object of our care (that causes division and distraction in our mind) on God, because we are the object of His care.'

Instead of focusing on the object of your care,

Become care-LESS. Become careFREE. And see how the word of God produces fruit in your life.

In the next part, we will see how this releases healing to your body and causes you to walk in divine health.

Whose Advantage?

Whose Advantage?

Jesus said in John 16:7, "It is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send Him to you."

The Holy Spirit could only come into the disciples after Jesus was glorified. It was to the disciples' advantage, because they would be able to do what Christ did and more (Jn 14:12).

This is EMPOWERMENT! Jesus wanted them to receive dunamis (power) so that they could walk in it.

Today, the same Holy Spirit is IN every believer. But not every believer thinks and lives that way. The hindrance lies with the main minister because he doesn't go away. He keeps staying at the pulpit.

If the pulpit is our security, then our identity is not in Christ. If you take the pulpit away from a minister and he feels lost/helpless, you know that he has built his identity in the wrong area.

So many are holding on to the pulpit for security reasons ---- financial stability, self-elevation, popularity, control, etc.

It is NOT to the flocks' advantage when we keep holding on to the pulpit and keep ministering.

Jesus showed us the way to lift up and empower His disciples. His focus was on their advantage. If He were to stay, they would never grow up. They would never mature. They would never do what He did.

The flocks are kept on the pews doing church ministries without dunamis (power) when the focus is on the pulpit.

Sometimes, getting out of the way is the best for the flocks to mature.

As a father, I realised that releasing my son empowers him to grow up. I had to get out of the way so that he learnt to do what I did, albeit with some mistakes, but he kept growing.

If you feel a need to keep staying at the pulpit and be the one ministering, maybe you have built your security in idolatry without realising it.

Whose advantage are you seeking?

Stop Elevating Yourself. Start Empowering Others

If you keep preaching and ministering, you become a stage where audiences depend on you. It eventually makes your head bigger.

If you keep empowering others to preach and minister, there is no stage and no audience depending on you. It eventually makes your heart bigger.

The biblical model of the ekklesia (church) has no audience. Because ALL are called and sent out.

God's Call For Your Life Part 2

God's Call For Your Life Part 2

As shared in the previous post, God's calling for every individual is the SAME --- to be conformed to the image of Christ (Rom 8:29-30).

By trying to pray 'so hard' in search of God's calling for your life, you can get off-tracked in the Kingdom. For God has made it plain and clear in the Word about your calling.

He's less concerned about the job you do, the house you buy, the spouse you find, etc., than you conforming to His image. There is more liberty in what you can do than you realise.

Conforming to His image includes everything that Christ walked in, both power and love. Many people think Christ-likeness is just about character. It's more than that. It includes the resurrection power that Christ walked in.

"What job/course should I do?"
"Which spouse should I choose?"
"Which house should I buy?"

Well, you just get a job and be conformed to His image. You just buy a house and be conformed to His image. You get a spouse and be conformed to His image.

The call of God is priority --- conforming to His image. The rest is secondary. When we get it upside down, we miss the Kingdom.

"But God, what should I DO with my life?"

It's already in Mark 16:15-18; Matt 28:19-20; John 20:21-23; Luke 24:47.

Get into a course and DO what He already said.
Get a job and DO what He already said.
Get a spouse and DO what He already said.
Get a house and DO what He already said.

The MAIN thing is to obey His calling --- salvation unto Christ's image. What is secondary (job, course, spouse, house, and the list goes on) is of less significance.

When we understand what God's calling meant (which is the SAME for everyone), we can go into the secondary, which is NOT specific in the Bible. In other words, you have alot more freedom to choose and decide.

God is not some narrow-minded CEO deciding your job scope. He's not the traditional ancient Father deciding the spouse you should marry. The King empowers and delegates His authority to you.

Enough said about God's calling. There are some assigned works you might be doing and even within that, you have freedom to decide. But knowing these assigned works can make you effective in contributing to the distribution works in the Kingdom.

Only let each person lead the life that the Lord has assigned to him, and to which God has called him. - 1 Cor 7:17

Paul further explained in the chapter that you should remain in the condition in which you were called, whether married, slave or circumcised. Even the slave wasn't told to change his status after being called by God.

The word 'assigned' in Greek means 'distribute as properly needed'.

God, in His wisdom, has already distributed each individual for good works (Eph 2:10). If the call of God has to do with full-time ministries, then the world is finished because it is not distributed as properly needed.

We are all born into this world with different personalities, passion, abilities and life stories. These contributed to our distribution or what we have been assigned to.

What we simply need to find out is our distribution (what we have been assigned to). And that's not difficult. That doesn't take 40 days of fasting and praying, two appearances of angels, the sound of thunder, three sights of lightning and five trumpet blasts.

What is in your hand? What are you good at?
What is your heart desire?
What is your passion?
What is your life story?

More often than not, what you were redeemed FROM is what you are redeemed FOR. For God is our Redeemer.

Walking in what we have been distributed for makes us most effective in the Kingdom. And the result is that more people get gathered into the Father's house through us.

God's Call For Your Life Part 1

God's Call For Your Life Part 1

We have been taught by and large that we should find out God's call for our individual lives and walk in His calling. In other words, we are told to drop everything, seek, pray and pursue after what He has called us to do.

However, it seems that we have misunderstood what God's calling really meant. Using the wrong phrase can confuse people.

What if I told you that God's call for every believer is the ๐’๐€๐Œ๐„?
What if God's calling for your life is not unique and specific but general because it applies to everyone?

For those whom He foreknew He also ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ž๐๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ž๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐›๐ž ๐œ๐จ๐ง๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ๐ž๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ข๐ฆ๐š๐ ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‡๐ข๐ฌ ๐’๐จ๐ง, in order that He might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom He predestined He also justified, and those whom He justified He also glorified. - Rom 8:29-30

Read the Parable of the Wedding Feast and you will understand more on Matt 22:14 and Romans 8:29-30.

God's call for your life is not some specific works that only you can do. His calling for your life is for you Nothing more and nothing less.

He has called every individual unto salvation, but only those who responded to His call are chosen (Matt 22:14) and justified (Rom 8:30). ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐œ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐†๐จ๐ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ฌ๐š๐ฆ๐ž ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฒ ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐ž ๐ข๐ง๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐๐ฎ๐š๐ฅ ----- salvation unto the image of Christ.

Note: This is why the typical church salvation message through sinner's prayer (forgiveness and heaven) is merely half true and incomplete.

For the gifts and ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐œ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐†๐จ๐ are irrevocable. - Romans 11:29

Many preach this verse as God's unique call for your life. But the calling of God in this context refers to God's irrevocable election of Israel as His beloved. Read the whole chapter 11 and you will know that God was referring to Israel's salvation. It is consistent with Romans 8:29-30 on God's calling.

Scriptures interpret Scriptures. Read also Rom 8:28; Eph 4:1; 2 Thes 1:11; 1 Cor 1:2; 2 Peter 1:10; 1 Cor 7:17-24. There are many more consistent verses on God's calling, which is the SAME for every individual.

Hence, why are we trying so hard to pray, "God, what is Your call for my life? What should I do?"

Honestly, you can't find this in the Bible because it's not there and it's not of significant priority in God's eyes. For far too long, we have been focusing on the wrong thing and missing out the main thing.

"God, which course should I take in the University?"
"God, which job should I do?"
"God, which spouse should I choose?"
"God, which house should I buy?"
"God, which blouse should I get?" (pun intended)

The rule of the thumb is this... what is written in the Word is God's priority. It is the MAIN thing. What is not written in the Word is NOT God's priority.

We can get extremely side-tracked in the Kingdom when we try so hard to find out God's calling for our lives when He has already clearly and plainly stated so.

In the next part, I will share more on the kind of work we might have been assigned to.

Christ-likeness Is A Decision

Christ-likeness Is A Decision

Paul wrote alot about putting off the old self and putting on the new self (Col 3:5; 3:9-10).

Living by the Spirit is the same as living by the Word OR living in our identity OR living by faith. They are all the SAME. We don't have to be 'charismatically' flaky about each of them, unless we have not studied the Word thoroughly.

Paul had a deep encounter with God on the road to Damascus. But he didn't teach all his disciples to go after encounters. He taught them truths on the New Creation because he knew that it is the only Way for Christ-likeness.

He didn't shout, "Let the Holy Spirit touch you. I tell you... your life will never be the same again. Your life will be transformed by this encounter!!!"

Because it is both untrue and not the truth.

Paul had a deep encounter. But that encounter didn't change him. That encounter changed his mind about who God is. With all the knowledge of the Word that he already had as an ex-Pharisee, he went on to study further in the Word for many years and understood the New Covenant through revelations.

He understood what it meant to PUT ON the New Self so that he could become like Christ in all aspects.

To put on the New Self is to live according to the Spirit (aka identity, or Word, or faith). In the Spirit, we are created in God's image, like Christ. When the Bible talks about you in the New Covenant, it refers to your spirit. You are not your soul (mind, emotions, will) and your body. You are your spirit.

Alot of people get confused with this. When God sees you, He sees your spirit. Hence, when you see yourself, you must see in the Spirit too.

Since you have been made complete in Christ (Col 2:10), what is left for you to align to that completion is your soul and body. When Paul wrote that you should put on the new self or new man, he referred to your soul and body, because your spirit is already a new creation (2 Cor 5:17).

Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another... - Col 3:12-13

Since you and I can put off something and put on something, it is something that is meant to be done on our part. God has done His part to change you ---- made you a new creation. Now, we need to do our part.

If we can PUT ON compassionate hearts, it means that in the Spirit, we already have compassionate hearts. We are made compassionate since we are made complete in Christ.

In other words, every time when we PUT ON the characteristics of Christ, it is a DECISION. You DECIDE to put off and put on. You DECIDE to put on kindness, humility, meekness, love, etc.

A decision will eventually become a habit, a commitment and a lifestyle. When it becomes a lifestyle (natural), it proves that your mind is renewed (Rom 12:2) to the knowledge of the image of the Creator (Col 3:10).

What if you are not waiting for God to change your mind, emotions, will and actions? What if God is waiting for you to make a decision to change your mind, emotions, will and actions?

What if putting on the image of Christ in every aspect is all about you making a decision to do so?

Identified with Him

Identified with Him

The greatest mystery that God ever revealed to us is this... Christ IN you (Col 1:27).

The whole Christianity sums up in that.

For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. - Col 3:3

The most powerful defence against the enemy is to reckon ourselves died. A dead person cannot react or respond to anything that tries to come against him.

The enemy can throw anything at you. But if you are dead, he doesn't get any response back. This frustrates him because all that he does is to try to get a reaction/response from you.

This is why Galatians 2:20 is the only way to live a victorious Christian life in every area. Whichever area we struggle is the area that we are still trying to be alive in the flesh. Only the flesh will struggle.

Only when we are dead will His life flow through us.

...your life is now hidden with Christ in God. Col 3:3b

The word 'hidden' in Greek means 'laid up with God in heaven.' Christ is now in heaven.

Hence, our lives are not just laid up with the Christ on earth, but the Christ in heaven. Your life is laid up with the glorified Christ.

I have heard from so many pulpits that preach that 'your life is hidden IN CHRIST; so you hide yourself IN Christ; let Him be seen.' The principle is true but it is not what this verse talks about.

The verse doesn't say 'your life is now hidden IN Christ.' It says, 'your life is now hidden WITH Christ in God.'

The word 'with' in Greek means 'to be closely identified together with'; 'to be associated with one, with its power or result.'

In other words, our lives are now identified together with the glorified Christ. What you see in the glorified Christ is what you should see in you (1 John 4:17). We are so united with Christ that Christ and us are inseparable.

When the enemy sees us, he should see Christ. He cannot differentiate if it's you or Christ because of the inseparable union. Unless you suddenly decide to come alive in the flesh. This is why Paul reminded us that we have died.

Because your life is so identified and associated with Christ, you get to walk in the same power and result He has.

The more we identify our lives with the glorified Christ, the more we walk in His power and result. This is the most powerful offense against the enemy.

By power and result, I am referring to ALL that Christ walks in. This does not just refer to healing and health, but also love and character. The mainstream likes to choose the latter. The charismatics like to choose the former. We cannot pick and choose because Christ walks in BOTH of them.

People ask, "How is this possible?"

This is why we need to keep going after our identity in Christ. We never stop because we haven't reached perfection until we walk exactly like Christ.

Dominion Over Sickness

Dominion Over Sickness

The Word of God remains true even if someone experiences otherwise. The Word remains faithful even if someone is going through the exact opposite of the Word.

Once I preached on forgiveness, and someone who just went through a divorce came up to me after the session. She rebuked me for talking about forgiving your spouse. I listened to her rebuke, but I did not apologise. I make no apology for what is in the Word.

Hurt people hurt people. Because people are going through challenging and difficult stuff in their lives, they might not be ready to listen to the Word. They are already hurt. So they will react to what you say to protect themselves.

But we must not back down. The Word cuts but the Word also heals. There is no other way to heal completely. If we back down because someone is hurt, he/she will stay that way many years down the road.

Dan Mohler (senior) once said, "Sensuality will say, 'Oh... let's be nice to her. She is hurt.' Well, she's already hurting. Give her the truth! Yes, the truth might hurt, but she's already hurting. As long as our motivation is love, truth will eventually set her free."

For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. - Rom 6:14

We believe that sin indeed shall not have dominion over us. In other words, we have dominion over sin. We accept this truth, but might be experiencing otherwise. Yet we do not reject this truth.

Since death (every form including sicknesses and diseases) came through one man's sin and spread to all men (Rom 5:12) and life came through one Man's righteousness and spread to all believers (Rom 5:17), we know that if we have dominion over sin, we have dominion over death.

It is incomplete in theology to believe in dominion over sin if you don't believe in dominion over sicknesses and diseases. Because you can't deal with one without the other.

Sin and sicknesses go hand in hand as a package, just as righteousness and life go hand in hand as a package. Religion, however, has taught us to separate each of them, just as it has taught us to separate faith alone from water baptism.

The early disciples understood the truth way more simply. Keeping the Word simple is the best way to receive it's power in simplicity.

You don't reject the truth that you have dominion over sin, even if you are not walking in 100% victory over sin. Neither should you reject the truth that you have dominion over every sickness and disease, even if you don't experience it.

If physical death is the only way to be free from sin, then death is our saviour, not Jesus. On the same note, if physical death is the only way to be free from sickness, then death is our healer, not Jesus.

In 2024, I believe that we will see greater personal health and healing by simply receiving the truth of God found in His Word, without needing to seek after the laying on of hands from any minister, which is primarily meant for unbelievers.

The Christian Walk

The Christian Walk

The Christian Walk is a walk of faith. Faith, Spirit and Word are all co-related and interchangeable in the Word.

To walk by faith is to walk by the Word. When we choose to walk by the Word regardless of what we see, feel and experience, we are walking by faith.

When we received Christ, we are made complete in Him (Col 2:10). This is called the New Creation (2 Cor 5:17).

Jesus didn't come to change you. He came to kill you so that you become a New Man in Him (Gal 2:20).

We are not trying to become better.
We are not trying to get more from God. When Christ cried, "It is finished!", His works are perfectly completed and completely perfect.

Hence, we begin completed in Him (Col 2:10), which means that we are already made like Christ and we already have all that Christ has, when we are born again.

Therefore as you ๐ก๐š๐ฏ๐ž ๐ซ๐ž๐œ๐ž๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ Christ Jesus the Lord, so - Col 2:6

All that is left for us is to walk out who Christ is, because who He is, we are (1 John 4:17).
This is the Christian Walk ----- walking by faith in everything that He said we are.

If we have received Christ, we have received everything Christ is and has.

Christ is Healing and Health. So you and I do not need to try to get healing from God. We already have it. As He is, so are we in this world. By His stripes, we WERE healed (1 Peter 2:24).

The default mode of believers is "healed and health." That is our natural identity.

In other words, if we simply do nothing, healing and health flow within us by default, just as peace flows within us by default.

If you cut your finger, it heals by default. You don't think about it. But if you keep pressing/touching/scratching it, it actually hinders the healing.

The Bible says that "as you have received Christ, so walk in Him." You can translate it like this, "as you have received healing/health, so walk in healing/health." You can insert alot of principles in this verse and it will still be true. For Christ is salvation/abundance/peace/health/love, etc.

To walk in something is simple and effortless. It's by grace through faith. If you are walking, you don't stop just because you see/feel/experience stuff.

What stops us from walking in healing & health (by default) is what we see, feel and experience in our mortal bodies. When we react to our bodies instead of responding to who we are and continuing with our walk, we stop the flow within us.

The Christian Walk is a walk because you have already received everything you need in Christ. But to experience the benefits of the Kingdom, it takes you to walk them out by faith.

How To Increase In Knowing Him

How To Increase In Knowing Him

The typical SG Christian culture is to grow in knowledge. We are zealous to grow in knowledge. We desire to have more and know more.

We go for more bible studies, more seminars, more conferences, better pulpit teachings, etc. We are constantly seeking for more knowledge disguised as revelations of God.

This is but mere knowledge, which is not what the Bible talks about.

The Bible talks about knowing His will, leading to doing His will.

...you may be filled with ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ค๐ง๐จ๐ฐ๐ฅ๐ž๐๐ ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‡๐ข๐ฌ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to ๐ฐ๐š๐ฅ๐ค ๐ข๐ง ๐š ๐ฆ๐š๐ง๐ง๐ž๐ซ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ก๐ฒ of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him: bearing fruit in every good work and ๐ข๐ง๐œ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ค๐ง๐จ๐ฐ๐ฅ๐ž๐๐ ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐†๐จ๐. - Col 1:9-10

The knowledge of His will leads to walking (aka doing) in His will. And doing His will causes the INCREASE in the knowledge of Him.

To know Him more, it's not about getting more knowledge and going for more bible studies. It's about finding out His will and doing His will.

When we search out His will (through His Word), there is a demand for response if we want to grow in knowing Him. That's to walk it out. That's to do what we know ---- His will.

The real quest of knowing Him is not found in knowledge. It's found in doing.
