Receive Wholeness As You Received Forgiveness

Receive Wholeness As You Received Forgiveness

For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Rise and walk’? But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—He then said to the paralytic—“Rise, pick up your bed and go home.” - Matt 9:5-6

For Jesus, the forgiveness of sin is the same as the healing of sicknesses and diseases. When God forgave our sin, He made us whole ----- healed of sicknesses and diseases.

If we cannot believe that God wants us healed, it means that we don't believe that God has forgiven us of our sin.

Sin is the root of every sickness, disease and death.

Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned. - Rom 5:12

When God forgave our sin through Jesus on the Cross, He dealt with the sin's problem. Since the sin's problem is dealt with, the result of sin ---- sickness, disease and death, is also dealt with.

When you receive His forgiveness to be a born-again believer, you receive His wholeness to be free from sicknesses and diseases. If you accept His forgiveness, you can accept His healing and wholeness.

The reason why some people only receive healing when they release forgiveness to those who hurt them is NOT because there is a prerequisite for physical healing. It is because they finally understood that Christ has forgiven them, which gave them the power to forgive those who hurt them.

And when they understood God's forgiveness, they are at the right position to receive His wholeness. For when God forgave us of our sins, He also healed all our sicknesses and diseases.

Celebrity & Influencer Christianity Must End

Celebrity & Influencer Christianity Must End

Superstars, celebrity figures and influencers in the name of Christ must end.

Why?

While their impact and reach are huge and wide (but often not deep, because they don't have the time to go deep), the damage and pain they cause are equally disastrous.

Since most of us are excellence-in-progress, it means that we haven't arrived 100% in Christ's fullness.

If your audience is small, your weakness seems small. BUT if your audience is large, your weakness will be amplified.

It takes tremendous responsibility to walk meticulously right in the Kingdom, should you want to be a superstar, celebrity or an influencer for Him.

For it is impossible to live a double life and not be exposed eventually.

The devil will exalt you high despite your weaknesses so that you could be conceited. God didn't exalt you. The devil did.

He is the prince of the power of the air. He exalted the celebrities in the Hollywood and entertainment world as well as secular influencers in the same way he exalts you in the Christian circle.

Because when the one on the pedestal is struck, the rest will scatter. The impact is way more powerful when this happens.

In the last couple of years, we have seen way too many cases. The need to maintain that social proof and influencer-reputation is the very thing that destroys you from dealing with your weaknesses and growing in Christ-authenticity, regardless of what you say and preach or try to say and preach that appears authentic and genuine. You live with God; He lives with you and He knows.

We need to get out of that need by getting out of the result of that need.

I began this when I was 27. That was 17 years ago. It isn't super long. But neither is it short. Once you pass 40, you realise you have seen enough bull*hi* Christianity, whether celebrities, influencers or whatever, and you are no longer drawn to them. Sometimes, it's distasteful instead.

What you want is just an authentic Christian life that pursues excellence and embraces imperfection. And to find like-minded (even a few) people to live this Kingdom life.

Testimony ------ Your Faithfulness

Nick from England wasn't a believer. God reached him through the book that I wrote during the start of the pandemic period. He went on to be effective in reaching the lost after giving his life to Jesus.

My heart is blessed by this testimony from a UK church today.

You never know how and when God can use anyone to reach anyone.

You and I have a role and assignment to play in this Kingdom. Each of us will reach our unique audience because God is multi-faceted.

Sometimes, we might sow and not see immediate results. But we are always "adding" as sowers. For one plants and another waters, but it is God who brings the increase.

As we sow faithfully, others might reap what we sow. The Kingdom always wins.

There are people whom we have sown, whose lives have gone on to be influential and impactful for the Kingdom. Today, we can truly thank God that our individual faithfulness in sowing has Kingdom value.

Never ever underestimate what you have said, taught, preached and shown to others. Because God can turn nothing into something and little into much.

If God can use an ass (KJV version of donkey), there is none He can't use.

Keep sowing.
