The Prophetic Failed During The Pandemic

The Prophetic Failed During The Pandemic

The opposite of faith is not fear. It is sight.

Faith works through Love.
Sight works through Fear.

The prophetic is most powerful when it is driven by Love. When Love is the source, faith and boldness flow.

The opposite is also true. The prophetic is the weakest when it is driven by fear. When fear is the source, sight (instead of the prophetic) flows.

This is the reason why the prophetic largely failed during the pandemic, at least in Singapore.

FEAR.

When the prophetic is driven by fear, it will never represent the Word nor God.

During the pandemic (2020-2022), many prophetic voices failed to represent God. Many so-called prophetic men and women of God failed to hear from God. Because of FEAR.

Fear of men
Fear of the sheep
Fear of the government
Fear of lack of finances
Fear of sickness & disease
Fear of dying

Fear induced those prophetic voices then. They could not hear God. They heard other voices and were moved by sight. The visions, dreams and words they claimed to have received from God were all NOT from God.

They pushed people to go for the jab in the church and from the pulpit. They indirectly caused deaths by using the prophetic voices that they didn't hear from God.

Well, they will be judged for misusing the prophetic by God. We leave that to His judgment in His time.

If we can learn one simple thing from the pandemic, it is to avoid placing emphasis on prophetic voices in perilous times, no matter how big and credible they seem to be. Instead, place your focus on the Word of God --- one that is unshakable, unchanging and immovable.

The Word is the only One that will keep you.

The Bible Paradox on Healing

The Bible Paradox on Healing

And they asked Him, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”—so that they might accuse Him. - Matt 12:10

The religious sees healing as works.

So it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath. - Matt 12:12

Jesus, the Lord of Sabbath, sees healing as rest.

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in Me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. - John 14:12

While Jesus sees healing as rest, He also sees it as the works of God.

Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent. - John 6:29

While Jesus sees healing as the works of God, He sees Himself as the work of God.

Putting all equations together.

Believing in Jesus as the Sent is the only work of God we need to do. 𝐍𝐨 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐨 𝐢𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐮𝐬.

The rest of the works of God is God's work. 𝐍𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐮𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐨 𝐢𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐦.

This does not mean inactivity. It means that all works within us must be ceased, because we cannot produce the power of God for healing. And this is why Jesus sees healing as rest. Because it is the grace of God for healing to take place (and I don't mean sovereignty in case you misinterpret).

The religious sees healing as works. They cannot accept work on the day of Sabbath.

Today, the religious continues to see healing as works. They strive within. They work from within, instead of resting in Him.

On the other hand, the extreme grace school sees healing as rest together with inactivity. They always talk about resting in Him. Any external work will regarded as 'not resting in Him'.

But one must understand that your position is not your condition. Your inward position is to rest. But your outward condition is to work.

Once you have done your work to believe in Jesus, where no one can do it for you; you can now rest in Him to work healing through you, where no one can do it for Him.
