Response To Seeing Consistent Healing

I think we all believe to a certain degree that God WILL heal. So the main issue doesn't lie with believing, but doubting = unbelief = fear (since fear is not a feeling, but a spirit/attitude; I learnt this from my son some time back.

Every believer has been given the same standard of faith, and faith as small as a mustard is sufficient to move mountains. Since both believing and unbelief/doubt/fear can exist at the same time, we need to deal with the latter.

The pivoting point for me is to refuse to move my ground, despite of not seeing the result immediately (principle of the fig tree being cursed). In other words, believing without experiencing will lead to experiencing because of believing.

There is still so much for me to learn and grow into. But I realised that while anyone can walk in healing results, CONSISTENT results, however, require holiness (Jesus walked in complete holiness). I don't believe in the same way that the old school Pentecost believes ----- they (including the late John G Lake) believed that holiness leads to power. But they missed one pivotal point.

Holy living prevents condemnation of our heart, which leads to true confidence in His power to flow through us (1 John 3:21-22). While sin doesn't stop God from healing anyone, it stops us from having that full confidence in the power of God to heal anyone.

Hence, if we can grow to see His perfect love that casts out all fears (which include doubt/unbelief), we will walk in complete holiness and have full confidence to see CONSISTENT results every single time.

Healing For Allergy

Healing for Allergy

My son ate a full bowl of garlic crawfish yesterday. And I ate a full bowl of Mala crawfish. My wifey and I were totally shocked that he actually finished all of them (probably 20 of them).

Around 10ish this morning, his eyelids were swollen and red, and his body was full of rashes. Immediately, a thought came into my mind, "He's allergic to seafood. He ate too many crawfish in one meal." Well, that's obviously the carnal mind speaking.

In response to that, I commanded all infirmities to go and that he be free from all forms of allergy. My wife was initially planning to give him medication for allergy, but decided to hold out and trust God.

I went into my room for less than an hour, before I went out to the bathroom to pee. Before I returned to my room, I decided to go and check on him. Guess what?

All swell, redness and itchiness had disappeared from both his eyes and his body. Because they must bow before the name of Jesus. Yay God!

Your allergy is allergic to the name of Jesus. Do not live tolerating what you have been prescribed into. What you tolerate will remain. What you torment will eventually leave. Get frustrated with the enemy and stop allowing him to reign in your life.

If Christ reigns in your life, then the allergy must leave.

P.S: Will I allow my son to eat more crawfish? Yes! Because if you live in fear, you attract what you are fearful of. Faith is not only spelt R-I-S-K, it is also spelt T-R-U-S-T.

Your Experience Does Not Change The Word Of God

When a question was posted to the late evangelist Reinhard Bonnke, this is what he replied. Completely biblical.

Question: "Ps Bonnke, what happens if no one gets healed?"

Reply: If you pray for 9 people and no one gets healed, then you pray for the 10th person as though everyone before him was healed. Because YOUR EXPERIENCE DOES NOT CHANGE THE WORD OF GOD.

Is Your Gospel Relevant?

If your Gospel doesn't work in rural areas and third world countries, it is probably not the Gospel.

If your Gospel needs a certain education in order to be successful in life, it's not the Gospel, because some countries do not have access to such education.

If your Gospel needs a certain organic diet that is not accessible in those countries, it is not the Gospel. Because health is not dependent on physical materials but spiritual truths.

If your Gospel needs a certain v*c*ine to protect you, but is not accessible in those countries, it is not the Gospel. Because protection comes from the Lord.

If your Gospel can only work in certain environments and/or culture, then it is not the Gospel because the Gospel is relevant in any area/location.

There is nothing wrong to have all of the above which are accessible to us in the first world nations. However, we must be honest to acknowledge in our hearts that it is because our trust is NOT really in Him yet. Period.

A Spirit-led Life Is A Word-based Life

If the Word is spirit and life (John 6:63b), every time:

• When we speak the Word, we are speaking in the Spirit and we are releasing life because “death and life lies in the power of the tongue.”

• When we think the Word, we are thinking in the Spirit and we are releasing life because “to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”

• When we do the Word, we are living in the Spirit and we are releasing life because “a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.”

To be led by the Spirit, to live in the Spirit and to walk in the Spirit is simply to live according to the Word. Apart from that, it’s sensuality.

A Spirit-led life is a Word-based life.

If Christ is the 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 and the 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐝𝐨𝐦 of God (1 Cor 1:24), then the common language of believers saying 'you must exercise wisdom' is demonic in nature (James 3:15) if it is not found in Christ.

Your faith should not be in the 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐞𝐧 but in the 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐝. - 1 Cor 2:5

Since Christ is both the wisdom and the power of God, if we want real wisdom and real power, we MUST look to Him.

For I determined not to know anything among you except 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐢𝐦 𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝. - 1 Cor 2:2

Christ crucified is the message of the Cross (1 Cor 1:18, 24), where true wisdom and power lie in.

The Christian life must begin, continue and end from that one single message: Christ crucified. If you don't start there, you will follow the wisdom below (men's wisdom) (James 3:15), which is in cooperation with the enemy.

Christ crucified has provided what you need for the current worldwide situation. Despite what He had already done, we are still running to try more things as though He didn't complete a perfect work. This is the reason why we don't see what He sees.

This is why we cover fear with a new sensual language: Exercise wisdom.

The more we live in the wisdom and power of Christ, the more we become a stumbling block to the religious believers and foolishness to the world (1 Cor 1:23).

We like to find excuses in what we think is not possible because we like to put our trust in the circumstances around us instead of the Christ within us.

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐥𝐥 who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. - Acts 10:38

𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐞 #𝟏: Jesus healed all in the Gospel books to demonstrate His divinity, that He is God when He was on earth.

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. - Matt 10:8

𝐁𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞: Jesus told the disciples to do it and they did the same works Jesus did.

𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐞 #𝟐: Aiya. They were the chosen 12 apostles. That apostolic age had ended, you know?

Go into all the world and 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞. 𝐇𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐬 and is baptized will be saved... And these signs will 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞... they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover. - Mark 16:15-18

𝐁𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞: Jesus told the disciples to preach the Gospel. The signs are to follow the NEW BELIEVERS. It has nothing to do with apostles or apostolic age.

𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐞 #𝟓: S̵h̵u̵c̵k̵s̵!̵ ̵I̵ ̵m̵i̵s̵s̵ ̵t̵h̵i̵s̵ ̵p̵a̵r̵t̵. Well, it’s not meant to be taken literally. It’s a generic saying, but it doesn’t always apply to all.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐬 in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. - John 3:16

𝐁𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞: Yeah. I guess if Mark 16:15-18 is a generic saying, John 3:16 and all other commands of Jesus must also be generic saying and don’t always apply to all. In other words, you might not be saved.

If you don’t take the commands of Jesus literally, you are probably a figurative Christian.

In the Old Covenant, the Promised Land was filled with physical blessings. In the New Covenant, it is spiritual. It is now the Promised Spirit (Gal 3:14), which is the Spirit of Christ. 

All the promises of God are "Yes" in Christ, and in Him "Amen", to the glory of God through us. Since all the promises of God are "Yes" in Christ, the Spirit of Christ is also the Spirit of Promise.

In other words, when anyone reaches out to Christ, he/she is reaching out to all of God's promises, which include healing.

Multitudes couldn't wait to touch Him/His garment, because they knew that they would be healed (Luke 6:19; Mark 6:56). Jesus didn't know exactly who touched Him all the time. In Mark 5:30, when the woman with the issue of blood touched His garment, He turned and asked, "𝐃̵𝐨̵ ̵𝐲̵𝐨̵𝐮̵ ̵𝐡̵𝐚̵𝐯̵𝐞̵ ̵𝐚̵ ̵𝐛̵𝐚̵𝐝̵𝐠̵𝐞̵ ̵𝐭̵𝐨̵ ̵𝐛̵𝐞̵ ̵𝐡̵𝐞̵𝐚̵𝐥̵𝐞̵𝐝̵?̵" Who touched My garments?" Jesus did not know she was the one.

That tells me one thing... healing has 'no respecter of person.' All of God's promises have absolutely NO respecter of person. WHOEVER touched Christ was touching the Spirit of Promise (where all of God's promises are and that includes healing). 

𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐖𝐇𝐎, 𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐝. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈 𝐃𝐄𝐂𝐈𝐃𝐄 𝐢𝐭. You and I do NOT need His permission. If He didn't know who touched His garment, the permission to be healed was not needed, since He is not a respecter of person.

Note: When Christ took the stripes, He already permitted healing. Because by His stripes, you WERE healed.

When we reach out to touch Him at any point, we are reaching to appropriate His promises (i.e. healing) which were already set in motion through Christ.

If this is Good News, I have something even better.

Guess where all the promises of God dwell in now? Within you and me, since the Spirit of Promise (Christ) now lives in you and me.

Healing is closer than you think. Because healing has no respecter of person, you can choose this day to receive and act upon it.

Walking In Health

Healing can be progressive or instantaneous, depending on how we receive His truth into our heart (not our mind). If it's instantaneous, it's called a miracle.

As believers, it is great to experience His healing, since healing is the children's bread (though the context was referring to Israel, but now by His stripes, we were healed). 

But it is even better to walk in health. One key revelation of the truth is this: 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐫𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐝. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬.

If the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10); and that Christ came to give us life ('zoe'), it means that when we are in Christ, 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡, just as our default as believers is to have peace within us.

Note: The context of the thief in John 10:10 is referring to false teachers. Many like to argue that it's not referring to the devil. But a bigger context in John refers the source of the false teachers to the devil (John 8:44). They were merely doing the evil desires of Satan. When you listen to a lie, you let the devil steal, kill and destroy.

Each time if a believer gets sick, it's because the enemy steals his health. Hence, we are not trying to walk from healing to healing. We are learning to walk in health to RESIST sickness.

𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲. You don't accept sickness, just as you don't allow the devil to come into your life. You don't allow stranger to come into your house. You tell him, "𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐲, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠! 𝐆𝐞𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐭!"

P.S: This is vital. Because there are many who once received healing, but experience relapse because they do not resist the stranger.

Which Course Do We Take?

When the doctor tells you to take the medicine three times a day until you finish the whole course of antibiotics, you obey diligently and never miss a time.

But when Doctor Jesus tells you to take His medicine (the Word Joshua 1:8-9) day and night until you see the Word made flesh (healing for your body), we disobey and refuse to follow through.

This is the reason why we end up suffering side effects instead of no effect.

If we take the earthly imperfect doctor more seriously than the Perfect heavenly Doctor, we cannot blame God for not seeing healing.

The Law Of Attraction

The Law Of Attraction

Many conservative believers do not understand about the Law of Attraction. They relegate it to pure New Age Spirituality. The New Agers understand more about science and spirituality than many believers.

However, they do not have the right Source, since they are counterfeit of the Original Creator.

In science, every word has a frequency, whether it is high or low vibrational frequency. The word is produced whether you are speaking, thinking, reading or hearing it. This is why the Bible tells us to guard our mouth, mind, heart, eyes and ears. We need to take heed and watch all our senses.

Vibrational frequencies do something to our brain and our body, whether good or bad. Positive words create positive vibes and high vibrational frequencies, whereas negative words do the opposite.

According to science, high vibrational frequencies bring healing to the body while low vibrational frequencies induce disease to the body.

The Law of Attraction works in the same way, by responding to the frequencies through your words (think, speak, hear and read).

This is why we need to speak the Word, hear the Word, meditate on the Word and do the Word. Since God is the Creator of the Universe and above all, His frequency must be the most Supreme. If we align to His frequency through our words, our body will be aligned to the most Supreme realm.

P.S: This applies to other areas of our lives too.

Uncompromised

Staying uncompromised in your message means that it will offend some, convict some and change some. You cannot please everyone in the church.

Everyone likes to hear the message that God loves you and still wants you healed. It is so much easier to preach that God can heal but not always the case or His timing, than to preach that God has already decided and released the healing 2000 years ago through the stripes of Jesus.

When you preach the message of healing as His will and that the problem never lies with God when you are not healed, that’s where rubber meets the road. Most people cannot accept it because they live by sight and experiences instead of truth.

I have people walked out of the message halfway because of that. But I don’t water down nor change the message anyway. And I have also been invited once and for all because some leaders are uncomfortable and 𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒖𝒎𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒈𝒆 with what I said. They don’t know how to pacify their people after that.

This is why I am glad to be out of an institution so that I can keep the message pure and uncompromised. Love also means giving you the truth even if you hate it or 𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒖𝒎𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒈𝒆 with it.

The Gospel truth still offends and causes some to 𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒖𝒎𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒈𝒆 today as it did to the Jews, Romans and Greeks in times past.

Fight The Enemy By Staying In Your Seat Part 2

As shared in Part 1, the enemy's goal is to get you to come off your seat of identity to fight him in his earthly realm. But we need to fight to remain seated, so that we stay in the realm of faith where the enemy cannot win (1 Jn 5:4).

When you are sitting, you are not moving. If you are moving, you are not sitting. In order to stay seated, our eyes have to be set on Him (Isa 26:3; Ps 16:8). Since the nature of God is found in His Word, our eyes are set on Him when we are settled on His Word (instead of some charismatic visions).

If the Word says it, that settles it. Because our spirit is in perfect alignment with Him, what we need to work on is our soul (mind, emotions and will) and body.

All of our soul and body have to remain seated ----- in full agreement with the Word. It means that what we think, determine, say and behave are in accordance to the Word, even when we don't feel like. When we fully acknowledge who we are and what we have (identity; Phil 6), our armour is in full operation (Eph 6:10-18) and that includes slaying and crushing the enemy.

If pain shouts at you, your soul and body have to remain seated.

If lack shouts at you, your soul and body have to remain seated.

Whatever it is, being seated is the only way to win the fight, because sitting proves that your world (heaven) is more real and powerful than this world.

Subduing Your Carnal Mind

The carnal mind is hostile against God, for it is not subject to the law of God. Nor indeed can be.

While we have the mind of Christ, we can still operate with the carnal mind if we do not learn to walk in the Spirit.

The carnal mind is in the realm of flesh and sight. The spiritual mind is in the realm of the Spirit and faith.

If we cannot subdue our carnal mind, we will live according to the flesh. One of the ways to learn to subdue our carnal mind is through fasting. It’s not the only way. It is one of the tools.

I love coffee but I am not mastered by it. Occasionally, I go on extended fast without coffee. 

On any day, I can go without coffee and there is absolutely no withdrawal symptom. Because I have trained my body not to be subjected to it. I don’t drink coffee because I need to. I drink it because I want to. It’s easy to deal with your “want” when it is not your “need”.

Fasting is a tool to subdue your carnal mind. Extended fast from food trains you to ignore your flesh and live submitted to the Word. Other than that, fasting does not bend God’s hand to do what you are asking for. Fasting does not get your prayers answered. If it does, then you need to throw away the Bible and walk out of Christ, because nowhere teaches that, and Christ must have died in vain.

If your fasting can get an anointing, that fasting must have been extremely annoying to God.

I hardly share about fasting because it is always misunderstood.  But when your stomach is shouting, “I am hungry!” You can reply back, “You carnal fellow. Shut your mouth and submit to your master, who is me.”

If we can subdue our stomach’s desires, we will learn to subdue the carnal mind and what the flesh is saying. Because if you have pain in your body, you know how to live ABOVE it. “Pain, you are just complaining in the carnal realm. You shut up and follow my words and my leading. I am master over you. You submit to my healthy body because I was healed and I’m staying healed.”

This principle works in all areas, since living in the Spirit affects all areas of life.

If you want to subdue your carnal mind, perhaps the first way to start is to subdue your stomach’s desires.
