Perfect Love Casts Out Fear Part 3

Perfect Love Casts Out Fear Part 3

In Part 2, we talked about the progression of the circumstances we are facing in today's world that is a tad likened to the first century.

Apostle Paul, who experienced all those, said "𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐮𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭?"

The believers in Rome were facing such distress that Paul entered into a dialectical and rhetorical dialogue with them in the letter. He knew how they felt and he addressed that.

"As it is written, 'For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.'" - Rom 8:36

Those believers had lost the fighting spirit. They felt they were simply sheep meant to be slaughtered. 𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐚 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐆 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐡 (planned) 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬. (Greek = narrow/confined place) due to the re-stre-et-ions.

Sta-tis-tics show that only 4% (ag-ed 12 a-nd a-bove) are NOT veksinated. This includes those who are not believers and those who are not eli-gi-ble.

In this small handful of believers, many face distress and probably think that they are like sheep to be slaughtered.

BUT Paul said, "𝐍𝐨, in all these things we are 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐬 through Him who loved us."  Rom 8:37

This should be our RESPONSE because of His Love. The phrase 'more than conquerors' means '𝐚 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫-𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐲 𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬'. We are not merely fighting as warriors. 𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐞𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐛𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞.

Come next year, the percentage of believers facing distress will increase because of what is to come. This includes those who have been veksinated. If you want to avoid distress, you can choose convenient Christianity. Otherwise, take heart and remember Romans 8:37.
