Reproducing The Works

I shared the science of the power of memory with my son. He was exhilarated. He went to tell his mum.

Then he went to his room and did what I shared.

He simply recalled the memory when he first did it. The 20 cents got stuck.

Then he did the $1. It's still stuck there since yesterday.

If it's based on anointing, you need a certain man of God to do the job.

If it's based on principles, everyone can do it.

I am convinced that preaching from the pulpit probably moves only 5% of people into doing.

But if we demonstrate what we teach, we move a much greater percentage of people into reproducing the same works.

Jesus demonstrated His works to His disciples. He empowered them speedily. Because what you first caught in your memory will form the neural firing patterns needed for the next encounter when you recall back what was done the first time.

To disciple people, it takes demonstration, not preaching. This is why discipleship doesn't take place in a church service.

Perhaps, instead of spending hours and hours preparing a sermon every week that produces little result, we should spend hours and hours demonstrating so that it produces more fruit.

The Science Of The Power Of Memory In FAITH

The Science Of The Power Of Memory In FAITH

As I was spending time with the Holy Spirit today, He spoke to me about two things in faith.

Faith is empowered by a borrowed conviction (i.e. the people around the Samaritan woman) and a 'borrowed' atmosphere (i.e. Saul prophesying around prophets). I will expound this in another post.

I was reminded of a particular 'borrowed' atmosphere many years ago in a meeting. As I recalled the memory, I could feel faith charging up within me. I can't explain this in words.

So I put coins on the wall and I didn't say anything. I didn't expect anything. But I did an experiment. I simply recalled a memory of coin sticking to the wall.

Then the coin immediately got stuck to the wall (as shown in the photo attached).

I checked out science and realised how memory is connected to brain neurons in a powerful way that will re-activate your faith.

There is a neural firing pattern, when you form and recall a memory. When you form a memory, your brain stores it as a unique pattern of neuron firings.

Neural firing is the process by which neurons communicate with each other using electrical impulses and neurotransmitters. It's how the brain carries information about sensations, movement, motions, and memories.

When you recall a memory, your brain replays the same pattern of neuron firings. It re-activates it. In other words, sensations, movement, motions, etc are ALL re-activated together.

Your brain reactivates the neural firing patterns that were ORIGINALLY used to form the memory.

I believe this is strongly connected to FAITH! We can re-activate the SAME faith that was ORIGINALLY used to form certain supernatural events and miracles (in the memory).

By recalling the memory of coin sticking, the faith that was used to stick objects to the wall (defying gravity) was re-activated. Without saying anything, the miracle is repeated automatically.

Now, how is this going to affect healing and miracles?

When we recall our past healing and miracles WHILE ministering to the sick in front of us, I believe FAITH will be re-activated to repeat the same in front of us. Jesus!!!

P.S: Recalling a memory works differently from imagination. Imagination activates mirror neurons that are used in the real-life experience or during observation. The visual processing regions are more active when recalling memories than when imagining something. This is because recalling a memory reactivates the ORIGINAL perceptual experience.

Being Christ-Centred

Being Christ-Centred

To be Christ-centred means that you have to look away from yourself. It is to deny yourself.

Denying yourself is not self-denial. The latter is still about you because self-denial has to do with improving yourself through sacrifice. But denying yourself is to surrender your will and focus on His will.

It is Christ-centredness.

Very often, we teach about Christ-centredness in the area of character, which is the fruit of the Spirit. There is nothing wrong with that.

In recent years, some churches begin to teach about Christ-centredness in the area of power, which is the manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit.

Yet Christ-centredness applies in every practical aspect of our lives, not just in fruit and gifts. It's the whole Christian living.

This means that I stop looking at my bank account, and start looking at His bank account. This means that I stop looking at my expenses and start looking at His resources. This means that I stop looking at my circumstances and start looking at who Christ is.

In other words, if I step into a place that is expensive, I don't say, "That's expensive." Because it will be self-centred and not Christ-centred.

If I step into a place that is dirty, I don't say, "That's dirty." Because it will be self-centred and not Christ-centred.

The list goes on.

There is no breakthrough in any area where we are self-centred. It's like the pipe of Christ gets choked when we focus on self. But where we are Christ-centred, the life and power of Christ gets to move in and through the pipe freely.

God is teaching me personally that what I say in the secret place must be the same as what I say in the public place and in my interactions with others.

If we want breakthrough in our lives; first, change your word in the secret place and in the public place. Next, live Christ-centred in every area.

Intentionally stretch yourself to go to places beyond your ability so that you can walk out Christ-centredness by faith.

P.S: If someone invites you to a restaurant above your means, you say, "Thank You Jesus that the Cross has paid for it." Christ-centredness.

Self-Centred Prayer

If our prayer is self-centred, we can be praying to God and still be drawing the demonic into our lives.

Praying out of desperation never brings any good thing. It's the kind of prayer that the enemy loves to hear, so that he can come in and destroy further.

You don't receive what you pray for. You receive what you believe for.

Just because you pray does not mean that God has to answer you. Just because you fast does not mean that God has to answer you. Just because you go for prayer meetings does not mean that God has to answer you.
Just because you spend 3-4 hours praying everyday does not mean that God has to answer you.

And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we ask anything 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of Him. - 1 John 5:14-15

Every time when we pray out of self, we get answered by the devil.

God-things

We can be very busy doing good things but not doing God-things.

To do God-things, we have to spend time with Him. Apart from Him, we can do every good thing but not God-thing.

Jesus went about doing good, healing ALL who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him (Acts 10:38). We can see a few things from this verse.

1) Jesus focused on doing good.

2) Healing is always good.

3) Jesus healed all who were oppressed by the devil. This means that the root of every sickness and disease is an oppression of the devil.

4) Jesus healed ALL. Yet He didn't heal ALL throughout His ministry on earth. This means that He only healed ALL those who came to Him, as well as those whom He saw/met when He went about preaching in the cities/villages.

5) The reason Jesus didn't heal ALL everywhere is that He had to move on to where God told Him to visit/preach (Luke 4:43-44). This reveals that He wasn't busy doing good things but God-things.

He would depart from people at times to spend time with God so that He knows the God-things to do, instead of good things.

6) Since healing is always good, and that sickness is an oppression of the devil, to focus on simply doing good things and not God-things means that the devil has successfully drawn you away from God's assignments.

To put it in a practical sense, if I spend all my time ministering healing to the sick and not care about my wife and my son, not providing for them, not parenting my child, etc, the devil has succeeded.

Good things can distract you from God-things. Ministry is not when you are doing good things, but when you are doing God-things.

P.S: Sometimes, it's about washing the toilet bowls.

The Nature of The NT Prophetic

The Nature of The NT Prophetic

The nature of the prophetic did not change from the Old Covenant to the New Covenant. But the focus did.

In the Old Covenant, the prophetic pointed to the people's identity --- their relationship with God. Majority of the prophecies focused on repentance and returning to God.

In the New Covenant, the prophetic pointed to the identity of sonship. It focuses on encouragement, edification and d̵i̵r̵e̵c̵t̵i̵o̵n̵ comfort (1 Cor 14:3).

While the prophetic can sometimes be directional, it's not the main focus, because it ruins sonship and identity. People start going after prophetic words unsure instead of the prophetic Word made sure (2 Peter 1:19), which is the Word of God.

We were ministering at Clarke Quay to close the year 2024. Four young girls came. One of them came from Perth. We said, "We are seeing social justice on you. You are bold and you stand up for what is right. There is also creativity in you and you will blend social justice with creative means, breaking the traditional approach of using the laws. Are you studying law now?"

She nodded in amazement. "Yes, I'm studying law."

What if today's prophetic focuses on the intent of calling out identity? What if there is less instruction and more revelation of who the person is in the Kingdom?

What if the prophetic brings more empowerment than dis-empowerment? When we focus on identity, we always empower people. When we focus on direction, we always disempower people.

The whole chunk of epistles and the New Testament documented very few prophetic stuff as compared to identity stuff. This tells me one thing ------ God is more interested in us knowing who we are in Christ, than giving us directions.

When you know who you are, you will know your direction.

Your Expectation

Your Expectation

What you expect is what you believe. And whatever you believe, you receive. (Mk 11:24)

The world tells us "Do not expect this. Do not expect that." This is to prevent disappointment and discouragement.

But the Word tells us that God can do exceedingly abundantly above ALL you ask or think, ACCORDING to His power that is at work WITHIN us. (Eph 3:20)

If it's ACCORDING to what is WITHIN us, it means that you and I play the VITAL role.

When I have seen something happening over and over again, I stop praying, commanding or using words. I start expecting it to take place again and again.

There are certain ailments and sicknesses that I have seen healed over and over again, such that I no longer pray or command for people to be healed. I expect it each time when I see it.

To make it practical and easy for you to understand, I give you an example. If there are uneven legs due to uneven spine, when I lift up the legs, I expect them to straighten up. Without a word spoken, the leg starts moving on it's own; the spine starts straightening by itself.

Because the world outside us responds to the Word within us. Our expectation causes the external to conform to the internal.

The Word doesn't submit to anything or anyone. But everything and everyone must submit to the Word. Because ALL things were created by the Word and for the Word (Col 1:16).

Each time when we EXPECT the outcome, the Word manifests Himself. Your expectation goes way FASTER than the words coming out of your mouth.

Your inspection of the Word must move you on the inside to your expectation of the Word, so that the world outside you will respect what you expect and submit to it in obedience.

Christmas

Christmas

The fear to talk about Jesus in any required situation is not wisdom. Neither is it being sensitive to others.

It is the fear from the pit of hell.

We don't have to talk about Jesus all the time with our lips. But when the situation arises, the fear of God must triumph the fear of men.

The birth of Christ was not on 25th December. It was the birth of the Roman sun god Sol Invictus. It is believed that Constantine later instituted Churchianity and chose 25th December to celebrate Christ, an attempt to co-opt the pagan holiday of Sol Invictus in order to restrict paganism.

Most scholars believe that Christ was born between June and October based on the biblical incidents.

The question is... does it matter?

One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. - Romans 14:5

Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath. These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ. - Col 2:16-17

The specific day of Christ's birthday is not significant. What is important is Christ Himself as the True Substance.

Because He was indeed born, crucified, died and rose from the dead to crush the gates of hell and sin, we can now experience true freedom from the inside out and live with a defining purpose.

Christmas is not a Day in life. It is the Way of life.

It is the New and Living Way, because you realise that what you have been living for has been changed 180 degrees so that the Way you value things/people and the Way you see things/people are no longer the same.

On this day, I wish you Christmas ------ may you experience the New and Living Way as your eyes are opened to the Way of Life, Christ Himself as the True Substance.

Singapore - The Weight & The Sin

Singapore - The Weight & The Sin

Every culture is reflected by it's people. The life, health and behaviours of people reflect what is deeper in the Spirit.

Singapore is a first world nation, but in many ways, a third-world spirit. We are rich in many ways, but poor within. The orphan spirit is manifested in so many areas, even in the churchianity.

Therefore lift your drooping hands and strengthen your weak knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but rather be healed. - Heb 12:12-13

This passage has been popping up in my mind and spirit several times and it points to the reality of our nation --- Singapore.

The context of this begins with, "...let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely..." - Heb 12:1

The result of weight ('burden' in Greek) and sin is weak hands and feeble knees (Ezekiel 21:6-7). What is physical is simply a reflection of the spiritual.

People in Singapore struggle with feeble knees and weak hands. If you have seen people in various countries, you will know that this is not exactly the norm, especially among middle-aged people. We are not even talking about the aged.

The unhealthy burden/weight (bondage) in this country is likened to that of the land of Egypt, and the sin like that of Babylon. It's not going to be resolved just by dieting, eating healthy and joining scores of fitness programme.

The solution is "...fixing our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of faith." - Heb 12:2

This is not found in churchianity or cellgroup programme. If it is so, the result would have been evident. But the reality is that more often than not, we see the same culture, life, health and behaviours among the supposedly called-out assembly.

If we are to be any different with the Spirit of Christ and Life within us, one evident manifestation is healthy hands and feet, the New Covenant that is free from the result of burden/weight and sin.

If we are not breaking through this culture of Singapore, we are not preaching fiercely and boldly the Gospel of the New Covenant.

The Modern Day Samaritan Woman

Two European ladies came and sat for spiritual reading. One is from Italy while the other is from another part of Europe. Apparently, they just got to know each other that night.

We asked the Italian lady if she had sinus issue and she said "yes". Ministered healing.

As the lady had different tattoos all over her, we requested, "Can we read the tattoo on your hand?"

She curiously replied, "You can read tattoo?"

So we looked at it and answered, "You have great leadership in you, like that of your father. But at the age of 19, suicidal thoughts came rushing into you. You wanted to die. Yet these are darkness trying to take you out of this life because they realise how valuable and powerful you are as a woman. These are dark spirits who wanted you out, but God protected you from death so that you can be here today."

She was so blown away that she was completely lost for words, while drinking a can of fruity beer. Her eyes were watery and she kept saying, "What the fu*k?! You are fuc*ing amazing! I have no words to say."

She kept pausing in silence and repeating the same words. So we read the other European lady first. That will be another story altogether.

We came back to the Italian lady. She continued, "This is fu*king amazing beyond words. You just read my whole life! Do you know what the words on my tattoo say?"

We replied, 'No, we don't know the language."

She exclaimed, "This tattoo has words written in our language saying, "Take me out of this darkness."

Just then, a group of young people came. They were the friends of two Singaporean ladies who were being read spiritually earlier. They brought their friends to the booth.

The Italian lady stood up and started going around telling them who were waiting in the vicinity. "I don't know him. I just met him here. And he just fu*king told me about my whole life. I attempted suicide when I was 19 and I this was how I got this tattoo."

We shared about Jesus with her. She was bruised by the church. Her mum is a strong believer, but she doesn't know if she really believes in this God-thing. Well, we believe that this encounter will bring her back.

She said that I should post this encounter on IG. She added, "Why are you doing it for free? You should maybe collect $1 per reading or something. You should share my story. You can even do video sharing. I'm willing to be in the video to testify what happened."

We responded, "Have you seen Jesus collecting money after praying?"

There was a pretty long conversation with her and her new European friend, revealing the love and the goodness of Christ into their lives.

Modern day Samaritan is possible when people encounter the goodness of God. Jesus!

Fears Are Lies. Faith Is Truth

Even when it seems I’m surrounded by many liars and my own fears... Ps 116:10 (TPT)

Fear always lies before your sight in order to hide truth from your faith. Fears triumph in the face of lies, while faith triumphs in the face of truth.

When your faith meets truth, it explodes in confidence and power.

Faith is the evidence of things not seen (Heb 11:1).
Faith is the evidence of truth.

Faith comes from hearing and hearing the Word (Rom 10:17).
Hearing and hearing the Word is the evidence of things not seen.
Hearing and hearing the Word is the evidence of truth.

The Word is the evidence of things not seen.
The Word is the evidence of truth.

Your faith only explodes in confidence and power when it meets the Word.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. - John 1:1-3

The Word is Christ.

Meeting the Word is the same as meeting Christ (2 Cor 3:18), since you cannot see Him face to face literally on earth until He returns.

Many of us are surrounded by fears (which are lies) but we don't know that we have been lied to. We even try, in our own wisdom, to differentiate between lies and facts.

But the Bible is clear that outside of truth is, but lies. These include facts. Facts are still lies when they are outside of truth. Nothing is going to help your faith unless you meet the Word. Only the Word is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:16).

People say, "Well, these are the facts. Doctor so-and-so said so. So I can have faith to win this sickness."

No. You can't have faith in the absence of truth. What you have is emotional satisfaction in the face of facts. Truth is only found in the Word.

And the only way to differentiate between what is lie and what is truth is the Word.

Streets Hit-and-Run Prophetic Encounter

I was in a rush, walking in the streets quickly to get to Dhoby Ghaut MRT.

Two well dressed guys walked in the opposite direction. They went past me, before one of them turned back and said, "Excuse me..."

I looked back as I thought he needed help with directions. He said, "Excuse me, your face is very lucky. You have a very lucky face."

He shook my hand and added, "In these two months, you will see lucky things."

I saw a globe and Asia as I shook his hand. So I said, "I see you travelling around Asia, spreading word, and you are leaving soon."

He was surprised and replied, "Yes, I travel around. I'm going to Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, etc. I'm an astrologist. Are you also an astrologist?" And he proceeded to shake my hand again.

I responded, "I do spiritual reading because I'm into Jesus."

As I had to rush off, we left it as that.

I have done thousands of hits-and-run healing encounters on the streets because you need to walk up to the person quickly and finish off the healing. But this is the first time I encountered a hit-and-run prophetic reading while moving fast and furious on the streets.

This sets me thinking of greater possibilities of reaching out to the lost in the streets as a natural lifestyle.

If we can "excuse me" and release healing while walking in the streets, then we can "excuse me" and release a prophetic word while walking in the streets. Jesus!

P.S: My face is always lucky because I am always blessed in Christ.

God Gives You The Charge

God Gives You The Charge

The heavens are the Lord's heavens, but the earth He has given to the children of man. - Psalm 115:16 ESV

The heavens belong to our God; they are His alone, but He has given us the earth and put us in charge. - Psalm 115:16 (TPT)

The earth is under men's dominion. This is both a privilege and responsibility given by God. This is nothing new unless you don't understand Genesis Chapter 1.

When believers only hide in the four walls praying and interceding for the nation, thinking that God will somehow work things out regardlessly, they miss the heart of God.

Yes, there is a time and space for prayer and intercession. But it is only a fraction of our responsibility. If you are in charge on this earth, you must take action. Faith is not just a fact. Faith is an act.

This is also the reason why believers must vote for the right government. We don't just pray, "Oh God, let Your will be done." No, He has sent you to do His will. When you VOTE for the right government, you are DOING His will.

The Lord's Prayer is not a religious prayer to recite day and night. It is the heart of the Father to be demonstrated and manifested through His sons ----- Jesus did it first (Jn 5:19; Heb 10:7), and now it is our turn (Phil 2:13).

The King's heart is for His Kingdom to be reflected on earth as it is in heaven. We cannot do it simply by praying & interceding. We are given the charge to DO and ACT on His will. This is why He put us in charge on earth. This is also the reason why He instituted the whole governmental system on earth.

Unfortunately, many believers still do not understand how the Kingdom works. They are so stuck with religion and churchianity that they miss the Kingdom purpose.

They leave the secular, political and governmental realms to unbelievers. They focus on praying & interceding, and telling others to trust God and let Him do His will on earth. That is not Christianity.

How do we vote for the right government that is according to God's will? It is simple.

The policies that reflect the most of that of the Kingdom are the ones we should support and vote for. It's clear and indisputable. God wants His Kingdom to be manifested on earth.

You don't vote according to track records. You don't vote according to the mainstream and popularity. You don't vote according to personal preference or personality. You vote according to Kingdom alignment.

I have heard so many people (believers or non-believers) talking about Trump and why he shouldn't be elected as a person with so many issues. Well, if you understand the Kingdom, you will know why he is rightly elected.

Singapore will have our turn. But voting, while extremely important (because it concerns the lives of the people in the nation), is only one aspect of taking responsibility on earth as believers.

If we are in charge of this earth, we must take dominion in every arena until they look like heaven.

Rightness Delivers

Rightness Delivers

...they would deliver but their own lives by their righteousness... - Ezekiel 14:14

In the Old Covenant, righteousness was on credit by faith (Gen 15:6). In the New Covenant, righteousness is a reality given by Christ (2 Cor 5:21).

If righteousness by credit could deliver Daniel, Job and Noah's lives as mentioned by God to Ezekiel, righteousness by reality should be way better.

Righteousness always delivers, because the Deliverer has not only appeared, but He lives in us.

In the Old, God raised deliverers (Judges 3:9) to deliver Israel from their enemies. In the New, God sent the Greatest Deliverer into us so that deliverance is a thing of the past (Col 1:13; 2 Cor 5:17), but many believers are still thinking about receiving deliverance from ministries. Because they don't understand that the Deliverer is INSIDE them.

You and I have now become 'a deliverer' because of Righteousness. Righteousness is not only right standing before God. It is also right standing before anything that is wrong.

If a person does something wrong (or criminal), he is afraid to stand face to face with a police/law officer. In the same way, our role as a 'deliverer' is to confront what is wrong in the lives of people.

This means that we deliver what is Right into what is wrong.

Sickness is wrong. Disease is wrong. Demonic oppression is wrong. As long as the soul and the body do not function according to God's original design, it is wrong.

So when we come face to face with what is wrong, what is wrong is afraid of us because we deliver 'right-ness'.

Healing is right. Health is right. Freedom is right. We deliver right-ness into the person, so that wrong-ness leaves.

Right-ness has been paid for by Christ. As a deliverer, we simply deliver what Christ has paid for to wrong situations.

The next time when you see sickness, you can boldly declare, "Because I am right and you are wrong, you have to go."

Believing and Manifestation

Believing and Manifestation

Your believing will keep working until your thoughts and words say otherwise.

This is why Joshua 1:8 says that the Word of God must not depart from our mouth (words) and meditation (thoughts).

Everything in life is designed to distract you. Worries and cares, in the Greek, mean distraction and division. They are meant to divide your thoughts so that you cannot believe completely.

This is why it is impossible to keep believing if we don't keep meditating His Word day and night as Joshua said. It can't even be departed from our mouth.

Mark 11:24 says that if you believe, it will be yours. It says "will be", which means that the manifestation may or may not be instantaneous. I believe that the strength of your belief will determine the speed of the manifestation. Nonetheless, as long as you believe, it will keep working until the manifestation comes.

This is why there are non-believing believers and believing non-believers. Non-believers can also get the manifestation with their belief. This is called the Law of Attraction. However, a believer's belief should be way more powerful than a non-believer because the latter depends on self will power or demonic power, but we depend on the Spirit of belief, the Power of heaven.

A believer's belief should get the manifestation way faster than a non-believer.

If we don't get the manifestation, we can trace back and honestly discover that at some point, we let our thoughts or words say otherwise (either consciously or subconsciously).

Apart from that, believing cannot stop working because God is not a man that He should lie. His Word always works and never returns to Him void.
