Rightness Delivers

Rightness Delivers

...they would deliver but their own lives by their righteousness... - Ezekiel 14:14

In the Old Covenant, righteousness was on credit by faith (Gen 15:6). In the New Covenant, righteousness is a reality given by Christ (2 Cor 5:21).

If righteousness by credit could deliver Daniel, Job and Noah's lives as mentioned by God to Ezekiel, righteousness by reality should be way better.

Righteousness always delivers, because the Deliverer has not only appeared, but He lives in us.

In the Old, God raised deliverers (Judges 3:9) to deliver Israel from their enemies. In the New, God sent the Greatest Deliverer into us so that deliverance is a thing of the past (Col 1:13; 2 Cor 5:17), but many believers are still thinking about receiving deliverance from ministries. Because they don't understand that the Deliverer is INSIDE them.

You and I have now become 'a deliverer' because of Righteousness. Righteousness is not only right standing before God. It is also right standing before anything that is wrong.

If a person does something wrong (or criminal), he is afraid to stand face to face with a police/law officer. In the same way, our role as a 'deliverer' is to confront what is wrong in the lives of people.

This means that we deliver what is Right into what is wrong.

Sickness is wrong. Disease is wrong. Demonic oppression is wrong. As long as the soul and the body do not function according to God's original design, it is wrong.

So when we come face to face with what is wrong, what is wrong is afraid of us because we deliver 'right-ness'.

Healing is right. Health is right. Freedom is right. We deliver right-ness into the person, so that wrong-ness leaves.

Right-ness has been paid for by Christ. As a deliverer, we simply deliver what Christ has paid for to wrong situations.

The next time when you see sickness, you can boldly declare, "Because I am right and you are wrong, you have to go."
