Deliverance Part 1

Deliverance Part 1

I have attended inner healing and deliverance courses and training in the past. Yet when I understood the New Covenant, I realised that they didn't have any New Covenant Scriptures to teach the truth on deliverance.

Ministry can set you free, but only truth will keep you free (John 8:32). Over the years, I have people coming to us for inner healing and deliverance. They had been 'set free' by other ministries but the symptoms/issues kept coming back. What they experienced might be true (at that point in time) or perhaps psychological, but true deliverance has to do with knowing our identity.

He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son... - Col 1:13

Many believers are still waiting for another deliverance session when the Bible says that we have already been delivered from the domain of darkness. The word 'domain' in Greek is 'exousia', which means authority. The enemy has NO MORE authority over us as soon as we are born again in the Kingdom. Our chains have been broken immediately when we are in Christ.

You are not trying to get free. You are already free. But if you don't know that you are already free, you will still act and live in bondage. If you do not know that Satan has NO MORE authority over you, you will continue to act as though you are being controlled/influenced by him.

If Satan has no authority over you, it means that you are now under Christ's authority. You can no longer say, "I am oppressed by the enemy, so I couldn't help but live this way." The reality is this... you CHOOSE to live that way. No one is controlling you except you.

The first step to deliverance is to know that you have already been delivered when you are born again.

Tithing and Sowing & Reaping

Tithing and Sowing & Reaping

Tithing always works, just as giving always works. You reap what you sow. It is an earthly principle that God has established --- the law of giving and receiving.

Faith always works. You reap what you did not sow. It is a heavenly principle that the Father has provided --- by grace through faith.

The earthly principle (including tithing) applies to all men, including non-believers. But the heavenly principle applies to sons and daughters who know their Father.

The institution, in general, teaches you to live by faith ---- the heavenly principle. But when it comes to finances, they teach you to live by the earthly principle.

The pure Gospel is offensive to the religious because it is MORE than sowing and reaping. If it relies purely on sowing and reaping, we will still be under the law and be in hell.

Sons and daughters need to know that the Gospel is much more than sowing and reaping, because all that the Father has is yours.

P.S: Tithing is an Old Covenant principle that is based on sowing and reaping. The New Covenant principle is 'freely you have received, freely give'.

God Is The Righteous Judge

In the past two years, many Christians reflected the world more, because the ancient technique of fear from the ancient serpent still works effectively. We forget that the Ancient of Days still holds the true authority.

What is preached as wisdom is still fear in disguise, because the Kingdom wisdom is nothing like earthly wisdom. Kingdom wisdom is first pure, full of good fruits and without partiality.

What is preached as honour is still fear in disguise because the Kingdom honour is nothing like earthly honour. It is not based on titles and positions. Kingdom honour honours a little child and the least just the same as the high and mighty.

What is preached as love is still fear in disguise because Love & Truth are on the same side of the coin. The rest is, but sensuality. When nobody is willing to take a stand, yet says, "I am protecting the relationships around me (including my marriage)", it is driven by fear.

For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. - 2 Tim 1:17

They are not to be separated. Love, power and sound mind are all on the same side in oneness.

The word 'sound mind' in Greek means 'aptly acting out God's will by doing what He calls sound reasoning'. This is, in fact, Romans 12:2 ----- a renewed mind does the will of God and manifests/proves it.

A sound mind is simply one that thinks in alignment with His Word. The opposite is true. A crazy mind is one that thinks according to the patterns of the world.

When we walk in power, love and a sound mind, it immediately and automatically exposes fear disguising as wisdom, honour and love. People around us will either feel condemned and cut off the relationship OR they feel convicted and build deeper with us so that we grow in the Kingdom together.

I especially dislike those who preached at the pulpit that it's okay to take the j-a-b-b-b, and they secretly took non-Five-zer behind their sheep to protect themselves. It is fear disguised as love, honour and wisdom in front of their sheep.

If they took the same, that's fine because they took what they preached. Unfortunately, there are some who did otherwise and took the safer option behind their sheep. After two years, everything is exposed. Perhaps they should leave the pulpit and work on building their faith before they go back and preach to their sheep. There is no condemnation in Christ, but that doesn't mean that they should stay at the pulpit.

So many innocent lives are lost. And for that, God is the Righteous Judge on that Day.

The Real Test of Christianity & Christ In You

The real test of Christianity and Christ in you is not when you are studying in a seminary, preaching at the pulpit, serving within the four walls of the church, attending conferences/seminars/courses, etc.

The real test of Christianity and Christ in you is when you are out there living in the world, engaging the world and yet knowing that you are not of the world. It is revealed by our living among the people in the marketplace, society and culture --- whether it reflects the Kingdom more or the world more.

"I Remember Your Sickness No More"

"I Remember Your Sickness No More"

Sins and sicknesses are often correlated in the Scriptures. What Christ bore for one, He bore for the other (Isaiah 53:4, 53:12; Ps 103:3; Matt 8:17, 9:5-6).

Since God said that He remembers our sins no more, we are to agree with Him by remembering our sins no more. That's the God-kind of confession.

This does not mean that we can go ahead and sin as we like. For that is not a true revelation of grace.

By remembering our sins no more, we are to remember our righteousness in Christ (2 Cor 5:21). The more we remember that we are right with God through Christ, the more we will naturally and effortlessly live right. That's the power of grace.

In the same light, God remembers our sicknesses and diseases no more. He dealt with them once and for all through the body of Christ (1 Peter 2:24; Matt 8:17; Isa 53:4-5), just as He did with sin through the sacrifice of His Son.

God sees us healthy in the same way He sees us righteous. For He sees in the spirit ---- our true identity. You are not your flesh or body. You are not your soul. You are in the spirit.

We agree with God by remembering our sicknesses no more. However, the doctors and the bodily symptoms will always try their best to help you remember that the sickness is still there. We find it hard to forget because the medical report speaks pretty loud; the feelings and the visual/bodily symptoms speak pretty loud.

This is when we need to be 'forgetful' and 'forget' our sickness. Instead, we remember that we are healthy (in the spirit). We forget the sickness by acting/living as though we are healthy. For the righteous shall live by faith.

The principle is very simple, but it is hard in practice because our mind and our mouth like to say otherwise.

Some time ago, I fell from the chair. I stood on it to adjust the curtains. I landed on my left arm and back. My left shoulder was injured. The next day, I woke up with pain.

So I ministered to myself, and did push-ups immediately. If I was healed, I could do push-ups. I didn't believe myself into acting. I acted myself into believing. The pain disappeared on the same day.

A few days later, I had a quick thought, "How is my shoulder?" And the pain returned! So I deliberately made a decision to forget about my shoulder. Before I knew it, the pain was gone.

The same principle of 'remembering your sin no more' applies to 'remembering your sickness no more'.
