Gifts of The Spirit Part 1

Gifts of The Spirit Part 1

Many misunderstood that the gifts of the Spirit mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12 are meant to be allocated differently for each believer. Nothing is further from the truth.

In the first place, 1 Corinthians 12 is not talking about gifts. It's talking about the spiritual (the word 'gifts' is not in the original Greek in 1 Cor 12:1). Paul was teaching on the manifestation of the Spirit.

Nonetheless, since the book of Corinthians was written by Paul to carnal Christians aka babes in Christ (1 Cor 3:1-3), there was no solid food given to them (1 Cor 3:2). In other words, 1 Corinthians 12 is milk teaching for immature/young Christians. If you want to follow 1 Corinthians 12, then perhaps you are not ready for solid food.

Jesus did not move in gifts. He moved in identity (John 5:19; 10:30). He manifested every gift of the Spirit because the fullness of God dwells in Him (John 3:34). Since Christ and you are one (Col 1:27; 1 Cor 6:17), and that the fullness of God dwells in you (Col 2:9-10), you can do the same works that He did (John 14:12) and even greater. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐠𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐲.

Today, if you are still thinking about which gift of the Spirit you have and/or are given from God to operate from, you have not gone onto solid food. You are stuck at the infant stage.

The Corinthian church is not your benchmark. 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐢𝐬. It's either you choose to conform into the image of the Corinthian Christians or the image of Christ.

In the next part, I will share how to practically move in all of them. It's the simplest way ever and it's going to destroy the charismatic sacred cows and whatever anointing schools at one go.
