WHO TOLD YOU?!

Man was created to live in a faith-relationship with the Father. Man partook from the tree of life (Gen 2:9; 3:22). Faith in Him is what released life to Man (1 Cor 14:45).

After Man partook from the tree of the 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐥, he started to live by sight and facts.

God said, “𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 that you were naked? 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞 of which I commanded you not to eat?” - Gen 3:11

Since then, it is predominant in the world for mankind to live by the knowledge of good and evil; to walk by sight and facts. We trust the medical world more than the Word. We trust what we see and hear more than what God says.

Well, the medical report said so.

Well, the medical report said so.

𝐖𝐇𝐎 𝐓𝐎𝐋𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔 that your body cannot fight c****?

Well, the medical report said so.

𝐖𝐇𝐎 𝐓𝐎𝐋𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔 that you need a j**?

Well, the medical report said so.

𝐖𝐇𝐎 𝐓𝐎𝐋𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔 that you need chemotherapy to kill all the cancer cells?

Well, the medical report said so.

𝐖𝐇𝐎 𝐓𝐎𝐋𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔 that your health statistics are not good?

Well, the medical report said so.

3000 years before Christ came, Isaiah said, "𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?"

We need to return to the original intent God has for mankind ----- to live by faith ------- partaking from the tree of life.

You cannot listen to TWO reports. Choose one and choose LIFE today!

P.S: No medical report says that you will go heaven after you die. If you want to walk by facts, then maybe you should believe that medical report too.

Medical Report

Your medical report either proves that you are in health (fact) or you are in Christ (faith). Either way, you win.

It either confirms your health or affirms that you are not of this world.

This is not denial. This is denying that this world has power over the world within you. 1 John 4:4

If only believers can grasp hold of this, more will be walking in divine health.

Fight The Enemy By Staying In Your Seat Part 1

Alright, let's cut the charismatic make-you-feel-so-good-exaggerated lingo...

Reality: I was praying when I saw a vision of me sitting on a horse slaying (with a sword) the enemies coming from all sides. The horse remained in peace and I fought sitting without getting up.

The enemy's goal is to get you to come off your seat of identity to fight him in his earthly realm. Most of life's circumstances are meant to distract you and to get you off your seat. Once you leave the seat, you are no longer in faith. And all the flaming arrows can hit you (Eph 6:16).

Our goal is to stay in our seat, and fight sitting. It might seem effortless, but all of our flesh will scream, wanting us to get off the seat so that it's more comfortable & logical in a fight.

This is why we are to strive to enter into that rest (Heb 4:11). The real fight is not against the enemy. It is to fight to stay in our seat of identity. When we are seated, we are in faith. When we are in faith, nothing is impossible for us (Matt 17:20).

The Most Secure Minister

Preach!

If the ministers are always the main ones ministering, the people will always be the ones receiving and never growing.

This is how you keep your full-time job and finances going. This is how you keep your reputation and popularity.

Because if you empower the people to do the work of the ministry (Eph 4:11-12), you will soon be out of job when they grow to do the same works you do or even surpass you.

Looks like Jesus is the most secure Minister so far. John 14:12

Empower

The word “empower” comes from the Greek word “endunamoo” which consists of “en” and “dynamoo” (where the root word “dunamis” comes from).

“Dunamis” is what you receive when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.

Today, the word “empower” has been used very loosely in the charismatics circle.

To empower someone actually means that we strengthen him. How? Since it is meant to intensify the power (“dunamis”) of the Holy Spirit, to empower a believer is to show him what he ALREADY HAS in the Holy Ghost so that he can be strengthened to walk out that power.

In other words, the more you empower someone, the more he leans on the Holy Spirit, and the lesser he needs you.

This can be pretty scary for those who want to build their own ministry, instead of advancing the Kingdom. It might also mean financial loss for some churches.

True empowerment sets others free from you so that they walk in maturity. If you need others to have their eyes continually on you, you fail to empower them. You are merely spoon feeding them.

Why Powerless

If God has already given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, you don’t have to beg and pray for God to give you as though He hasn’t or as though He is controlling it.

Many don’t like to hear this, but the reality is that... the problem lies with you receiving it.

If my father has given me an inheritance, the problem doesn’t lie with him not giving, it lies with me appropriating and walking in it.

It is so simple. But we like to make God very complicated to suit our “revelational” theology, making Him more mysterious and shirking our responsibility to make ourselves look good.

The “in the sweet by and by” is what makes believers so powerless unlike the first century Christianity.

The Power of God

The Power of God

God already did it.

Christ already gave it.

You already have it.

Stop begging for it.

The church still hasn't gotten it.

The prophets are still prophesying for it.

The charismatics are still laying hands for it.

But the sons are walking in it.

The power of God does not lie in the future.

The Kingdom of God is here.

It is in the NOW.

We access it by grace through faith.

This is what separates a believing believer from a pulpit-man worshiper.

Resisting Sickness & Sin

You are the healed resisting sickness just as you are the righteous (in Him) resisting sin.

The way you receive salvation is the way you receive healing.

The way you resist sin is the way you resist sickness.

Vaccination - What Do You Say?

I received three different calls yesterday about the vaccination. They wanted to know my stand and my opinion.

I posted the question instead... "What is your conviction? Because I'm not here to tell you what to do. You need to know your conviction and follow through."

For those who have decided not to take the vaccination, you need to be ready for what is to come. You need to be ready to take the hits from people around you, even from your family.

For some, it means the loss of career, because they might not be able to travel; their bosses might insist that they take the vaccine.

Each decision must be weighed carefully to ensure that the cost has been counted. Then take the hits and hold your stand.

At the end of the day, God is not looking at whether you take or not take the vaccine. He's looking at whether you follow through with your conviction and keeping your faith from being shipwrecked.

P.S: If we can't even handle this covid thingy and it's impact, then don't even talk about persecution. We are definitely not ready for it. If we don't build during peace-time, when war-time comes, many will flee.

The Prayer Of Faith

The Prayer of Faith

The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. - James 5:15

The Bible is clear. But we love to make it complicated by diluting the message. Why is that so? Because we rather find truths in the reality that we face, instead of the truths in the Bible. 

The former brings comfort to us, giving us a false assurance that all things are in control, and allows us to identify with one another. But the latter delivers hard truths that do not seem to reconcile with our situations/experiences, and brings our pain/hurt to a new level when we have been trying hard to suppress it to console ourselves that everything is okay.

In full-time church ministry, we call it “being pastoral”. I am thankful, in a sense, to be out of that line of work, so that I can deliver uncompromised truths regardless of what others think.

If the prayer of faith WILL save (sozo also means heal) the sick, it also means that if the sick is not healed, the prayer of faith is not prayed. You can say that many have prayed in faith, but as long as the sick is not healed, it wasn’t prayed in faith.

The fruit always reveals the belief (root). See also Mark 11:23; Matt 17:20; Matt 21:21.

I know this is uncomfortable, because no preacher likes to take responsibility when he doesn’t see the sick healed. Unfortunately, we are quick to take credits for healing testimonies but slow to take responsibility for those who are not healed. We give reasons, excuses and relegate it to the “mystery” of God. This is ironic and disgusting at the same time.

Maturity is not about sharing many healing testimonies to show how good you are. It’s admitting failures, taking responsibility and continue to grow.

The Test Of Salvation

The Test Of Salvation

The early church did not have an issue questioning if someone is saved 'once and for all' or 'salvation can be lost'.

Today, the modern church is divided because of this. One school of thought firmly believes that one is saved forever; while the other strongly believes that salvation can be lost. They teach as though they are right.

Scriptures actually hold a tension between the two. We don't have an explicit 100% answer for that. Those who insist on one over another probably didn't study the Word enough.

What we know is this.... the early disciples had no issue with this salvation thingy, because they simply believed in the Gospel and followed through.

As long as we hold onto Christ and walk with Him, we need not worry about the rest. To worry about it implies that we are trying to find an alternate way out.

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. - Mark 16:15-16 (Read also Matthew 28:19-20)

Jesus' words are very clear when it comes to salvation. One must believe in the Gospel AND be baptized. Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that baptism is salvation (Note: The early disciples also DIDN'T struggle with this issue. They just followed through with baptism). 

What I'm saying is this... salvation must be followed by baptism. Faith must be followed by obedient action/response. 

Baptism, therefore, is the test of salvation. If someone hesitates to go for baptism, his salvation is questionable. Period.

Good Friday

On Good Friday, there were a number of healings.

A guy who just took his second jab of Covid vaccination, and experienced the side effects —— he couldn’t raise his arm due to the soreness, was instantly healed while sitting there listening to the message.

He came testifying with great joy in his heart.

This tells me one thing, if the side effects can instantly be healed, you don’t have to expect any side effects if you are convicted to go for the vaccination.

Shut your ears when the doctors try to get you to anticipate bad effects. Open your mouth and say, “Thank You Jesus that You have taken all effects away when You received those stripes.”
