Jesus taught His disciple in Matthew 6.

Your Kingdom come

Your will be done

On earth as it is in heaven 

Churchianity teaches the sheep to simply pray accordingly. But Jesus did NOT simply teach His disciples to pray. You can't build a doctrine around one verse. In the New Testament, you see Jesus preaching and demonstrating God's Kingdom and His will.

After Jesus rose from the dead, you see His disciples preaching and demonstrating His Kingdom and His will.

If it were simply left to praying, there is no need to do His works.

What is His Kingdom?

For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking (or just praying) but of 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐣𝐨𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭. - Rom 14:17 (emphasis added is mine)

For the Kingdom of God does not consist in talk but 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫. - 1 Cor 4:20

Where is His Kingdom?

For the Kingdom of God is 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮. - Luke 17:21

This means that 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫, 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐣𝐨𝐲 are within us.

For God gave us a spirit not of fear but 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 and love and self-control. - 2 Tim 1:7

For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him 𝐰𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐝. - 2 Cor 5:17

Peace I leave with you; 𝐌𝐲 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐈 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮. - Jn 14:27

Whatever house you enter, first say, ‘𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 be to this house!’ - Luke 10:5

For the 𝐣𝐨𝐲 of the Lord is your strength. - Neh 8:10

This is means that everything in the Kingdom (power, righteousness, peace and joy) has been put INTO us. INSIDE of us.

In other words, when we pray 'Your Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven', 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐨𝐧 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡. For we are the sons of God revealed (Romans 8:17).

Stop simply praying for His Kingdom to come. We must enforce His Kingdom on earth.

Don't simply pray that injustice will be removed by God. You stand up. You speak up, instead of hiding behind the four walls. You bring justice on earth, for the Judge lives in you. 

Stop saying that we should let God be the Judge. He already is. And He lives in you. You judge injustice. You bring justice. You are His Kingdom manifested.

Avoid sissianity and go for His Kingdom.

Every Demand Fulfilled on The Cross & The Resurrection

There is always demand placed on us from every side.

Demand from our own family

Demand from our aging parents

Demand from our work

Demand from our clients

Demand from our friends

Demand from our acquaintance

Demand from the poor and the needy (those who need help) as a result of ministry

The more your influence increases as a result of ministering to people, the more the demand from you will increase.

Disclaimer: By using the word 'demand', I'm not referring that it is negative. Earning an income, putting food on the table, spending time with your wife, kids and family, etc. are all part of the word 'demand'. As long as it takes time, energy OR effort from you, it's considered a demand.

From time to time, I'm not sure about you but I will feel guilty of not being able to fulfill all the demands placed on me.

There are always the poor and the needy who place demand on me. And I'm unable to fulfill them all. I'm just one person. I have limited time and energy, just like anyone.

It is impossible to attend to all. At times, I have to let go of the demand and not fulfill them. Yeah I do feel guilty at times too.

BUT I am reminded that even Jesus could not fulfill all the demands placed on Him while He was on earth.

I am reminded that Jesus was focused on fulfilling His assignment and purpose, instead of trying to fulfill all the demands placed on Him.

Since He had 100% result in healing, deliverance, raising the dead, meeting the practical needs of people, etc., I'm pretty sure that the whole world in those days would come after Him.

Nonetheless, Jesus kept doing what He was supposed to do.

Mark 1:37-38

"Everyone is looking for you.” And Jesus said to them, “Let us go on to the next towns, that I may preach there also, for that is why I came out.”

"The poor you will always have with you..." - Matt 26:11

There will always be the poor and the needy who place demand on us. But it is not possible to fulfill them all.

Hence, I am reminded to stay focused on my assignment, which means that I have to drop certain demands placed on me.

In today's context, it could be worse than what Jesus went through in terms of communication. People can call and text you on the phone non-stop.

Thus, we need to re-direct them to the only One who can fulfill all their demands ----- Christ alone. 

Even if they feel that we are not helpful. Even if they feel that we are not meeting their needs. Even if they feel that we are abandoning them. Because you and I are not omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent.

On the Cross, Jesus fulfilled every demand that He couldn't fulfill when He was physically on earth. The Power of the Cross & the Power of Resurrection supply enough to meet every demand of this world.

On this Resurrection Sunday, I pray that we will turn to Him for our needs to be met.

Today's Claimed "Vision from God"

The problem with today's claimed "Vision from God" is when you need to ask others for fundraising to fulfill your vision from God.

1) Is it really God's vision or your OWN vision?

- If it is from God, there will be a number of people receiving it outside of your inner circle as confirmation from His people, especially when it concerns a community.

- If it is from God, God will provide for you.

- If it is from you, you will keep stirring up the hearts of people to give to your vision by repeating the vision over and over again from the pulpit and social media

- If it is from you, you will keep finding ways to preach the vision and get people to give financially

When Paul had a vision from God, he just went ahead. When Peter had a vision from God, he didn't understand at first. But when he understood, he just went ahead.

Today, if you receive a vision from God and you need to first communicate to everybody to raise funds for you, it's your own vision. Stop manipulating people for your vision.

We have enough of this abuse going on in the spiritual institutions.

God can reach a community without any physical building. He is The Building made without human hands. Stop going back to the old building your own kingdom made with human hands.

If we are serious about fulfilling His vision, then Matt 28:18-20 and Mark 16:15-18 don't need a building.

Discovering Your God-Given Assignment

What you have gone through usually becomes what you will break through for God's assignment.

It is uniquely your personal experiences that make God's assignment for your life distinctive.

With this in mind, we should celebrate everyone's assignment instead of feeling threatened, jealous or feeling a need to compete.

You will never be able to compete and catch up with someone's God-given assignment. Because you are doing it by your own strength while he is doing it by God's grace. 

Anyone who feels this way reveals that he does not really know his assignment.

Instead of using your energy and time to compete, re-direct them on discovering God's assignment for your life. Look back at your past experiences, trauma, pain, victories, etc. Discover the passion and value in you that you can bring to the world.

God's assignment, more often than not, is connected to these dots in your life.

Don't Speak In Tongues In The Church

He who speaks in a tongue 𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐬 himself... - 1 Cor 14:4

The word 'edifies' in Greek is 'oikodomeó', which means 'to build, to construct, to edify.' It refers to 'building a house' or 'building someone up'.

The ESV translation is better.

The one who speaks in a tongue 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐮𝐩 himself... - 1 Cor 14:4 ESV

The Scriptures do not restrict 'building up himself' to purely the spiritual realm (aka the soul). We are a three-part being; spirit, soul and body.

'You who would destroy the temple and 𝐫𝐞𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 it in three days...' - Mathew 27:40

The word 'rebuild' is the same Greek word used (oikodomeó) in 1 Cor 14:4 for 'edify', which refers to 'building a house' or 'building someone up'.

When Jesus said that He would destroy this temple and 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞 it in three days (Jn 2:19), He was referring to His body. He would '𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭, 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝, 𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐲' His physical body in three days.

In other words, releasing the Resurrection LIFE (Rom 8:11) to the physical body is the same as 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩 or 𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 yourself.

Your spirit is perfect (1 Cor 6:17) when you are born again. What is left to be built up or edify is your soul and body.

Speaking in tongues does not just build up your soul. It also builds up your physical body. It 'oikodomeó' the body.

Carl Peterson, a brain specialist, conducted a study on speaking in tongues. He discovered that when we speak in tongues, the brain releases 2 chemical secretions that are directed into our immune system, giving a 35-40% boost to the immune system.

Another research was done at the University of Pennsylvania. They found out those who speak in tongues have a decrease of activity in the frontal lobes of the brain and an increased activity in the thalamus.

The frontal lobe of the brain is critical for reading and conversation, particularly in initiating speech, producing language, and planning responses.

The thalamus plays a critical role in regulating consciousness, sleep, alertness, and emotional responses. It also receives sensory data (vision, hearing, taste, touch) and sends it to the relevant cortical processing areas.

Note: This is how you differentiate between blabbing and speaking in tongues. When you speak in tongues, you should be able to continue using your frontal lobe for reading and planning.

Therefore, when we speak in tongues, we activate our consciousness towards God and hear His voice better (vision, hearing, taste & touch). We also grow in emotional health because it gives us rest and refreshing (Isa 28:11-12).

Immunotherapy is a new medical treatment for cancer by boosting the body's immune system to fight it. Scientists are discovering new age of immunotherapy beyond the traditional immune checkpoint inhibitors.

This is because chemotherapy does not treat cancer. Most of the time, it kills the person and it de-constructs the immune system. IMHO, it is a tool of the devil, because it goes against the original creation by God, which is man's immune system.

Speaking in tongues, on the other hand, builds up and constructs the body's immune system. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧!

Therefore, do not just go to church service or meetings and speak in tongues.

Speak in tongues wherever you are, and whenever you can.

How We View The World

How We View The World

Matthew 16:19 - I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

The Greek meaning for bind is "declare as illicit". The Greek meaning for loose is "declare as lawful."

What we declare as illicit on earth will be in heaven ------ what we forbid

What we declare as lawful on earth will be in heaven ------ what we allow

Things happening on earth in the past and present are not due to God forbidding or allowing, but due to men forbidding or allowing them on earth, for we have been entrusted with the earth through His dominion authority.

This is the most important understanding on the Kingdom of God. Missing this will totally change the way you view the world through the biblical lens, and the way you live.

"Let us pray and let God work" is NOT the message of the Kingdom of God.

"Let us pray and be empowered to do God's work" is the Gospel of the Kingdom of God.

We are not waiting for God to move. God is waiting for us to move. We are not waiting for a move of God again and again. We are THE move of God because God has already moved heaven down for us 2000 years ago through His Son.

Free Spiritual Reading & Power Healing

I asked my son, "What do you think if the church runs a healing service and says, 'If you need healing, come! But if you have cough or flu symptoms, please stay at home.'"

He answered, 'Isn't that weird?"

"Exactly. And this happened all over SG churches during the pandemic."

The Bible doesn't tell us to be careful so that we won't offend the local leadership and people. It tells us to heal the sick (without any categorisation).

To mask fear as wisdom is to have a form of godliness yet void of power.

It is totally fine to confess, "We are afraid of offending the g, so we follow the regulations." At least it's genuine confession of our failure to follow truths completely as we are perfection in progress. 

But distorting Scriptures (use of Rom 13) to justify fear is demonic in nature, since the Bible says that to think like men is demonic (carnal in nature.

This is why I think that it is almost impossible for an institution to obey the Scriptures in times of persecution / pandemic. Just talk about raising the dead in peacetime and you will realise that almost (not saying all) no institution dares to do it in SG.

To live the Bible way, we have to stay organic and small in groups.

Work & Kingdom

If we do not minister during our work, but only during church ministry, it means that we have effectively compartmentalised Christianity and miss the Kingdom of God.

By the same token, it reveals that we will live like the world from Mondays to Saturdays and adopt interim Christian-like behavioral modification on Sundays.

Work is the arena where we spend most of our time in, not the church ministry. If we don't think Kingdom, it will be a waste of time on earth.

Do not allow Christians to pressure you into serving in church ministry when your Kingdom assignment is in the marketplace.

“Awake, you who sleep,

Arise from the dead,

And Christ will give you light.”

See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. - Eph 5:14-16

Popularity and Rejection

Popularity and Rejection

The constant need to feed on popularity comes from the root of rejection.

Most of us have faced rejection in one way or another; sometimes through our own earthly fathers, and sometimes, through our encounters in life.

We might start off genuine in promoting something good, hoping to influence others positively. But when the likes and popularity begin to increase, we will subtly feed on it, because it feels good.

It feels good to be likeable.

It feels good to be popular.

It feels good to have the attention.

It feels good to be praised.

It feels good to be placed on the pedestal.

Then it becomes a vicious cycle unknowingly. On the outside, we keep pointing to God's glory and praise Him. On the inside, we are taking some, if not, all of His glory.

No one knows. But He knows.

Personally, I experienced a little many years back... when I posted testimonies almost every day or two. Until God spoke to me in one of my quiet times with Him.

Those testimonies did influence a few, but failed to empower most people. They began to reach out to me to help them. Instead of thinking that they could do the same, they thought otherwise. I became the 'special one'. This totally disempowers others and puts me in danger of deceit.

When we feel the need to keep releasing content (or testimonies) in the name of God, we have stepped into the need to feed our root of rejection, which has not been fully dealt with.

This has happened to so many prominent ministers all over the world. It should be an important lesson for us to pick up quickly, instead of thinking, "This will not happen to me. I just want to influence people."

When you see ministers having to keep releasing content in the name of God...

Look past the content

Look past the pulpit

Look past the pedestal

Look into his inner being

Empathise with his rejection 

Pray for him to know who truly he is before the Father

If Jesus the Christ, the Anointed One, the Messiah, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords had to withdraw Himself from popularity and the likes of men, then we too, have to follow His example.

Kingdom cycle, not human cycle

If you are free from sin, you are free from sicknesses and diseases which are the result of sin.

Christ freed you from sin and enslaved you to righteousness. You are free from sin and enslaved to righteousness.

If you are enslaved to righteousness, you are enslaved to life and health, which are the result of righteousness.

Today, you and I are held in bondage, not to sicknesses and diseases, but to life and health.

The law of the Spirit of Life has set you free from the law of sin and death.

Stop thinking of human cycle. Start thinking of Kingdom cycle.
