To be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. - Rom 8:6
What if the spiritual mind (the mind of Christ) is in our subconscious mind?
What if it is not what we think actively or deliberately, but what we unknowingly think passively?
If believing is not something we can measure tangibly with our mind (what we are thinking), it is likely to take place in our subconscious mind (what we already believe); that is connected to our heart.
Mark 11:23 says, "...and does not doubt in his HEART, but believes those things that he says..."
This is probably the reason why it's not what you think in your mind (actively) that causes things to happen positively or negatively, but what you unknowingly think in your subconscious mind (passive) that causes things to happen.
As a man THINKETH in his HEART, so is he. - Prov 23:7 KJV
How do we work on our subconscious mind? It will take both intentional THINKING and DOING what the Word is SAYING.
Do not conform to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing on your mind... - Rom 12:2
The door to the mind of Christ is wide opened through the Blood of the Lamb. Our subconscious mind could not experience LIFE and PEACE when we were not yet born again. It could only think death.
When we get born again, this realm is opened up for us to renew it. God is NOT going to do it for us. He has given us the ability to do so.
When we keep thinking His Words, we are meditating and preparing ourselves to DO them. When we do them, we are acting in faith. Because faith is simply doing His Words.
Each time we act in faith, we rewire our subconscious mind. Each time we act in fear, we also rewire it.
We need to rewire it so strongly such that our subconscious mind unknowingly thinks like Christ.
When this happens, even when your mind is thinking negatively (because the enemy can only suggest thoughts in your carnal mind; 2 Cor 10:4-5), things will still happen according to the Word. Because your subconscious mind is already believing the same as the mind of Christ.
You cannot stop what enters your carnal mind. Those thoughts have no impact on you as long as your subconscious mind is settled.
This is also the reason why some people say, "I believe. I always think and meditate on the Word of God." But they still struggle with seeing the manifestation of the Word.
I believe that our subconscious mind is the most important aspect of our Christian walk.
